Spiros Diner — Restaurant in Freemansburg

Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Upon walking in I saw a sign that said Help Wanted. I asked the waitress oh I see your sign that you're hiring here. What positions are you hiring for? She told me "Oh everything you name it waitress, bus boy, dishwasher." I thanked her for the information. I came back later with my friend. He filled the application out and the owner came out to speak to him. He proceeded to tell my friend "I'm sorry but we don't have any positions available." My friend left.

I proceeded to ask for the manager again. He came out and I asked him about it. I told him I was in the restaurant 2 hours ago and spoke to a waitress and I was told all positions are available. He got upset and asked me which waitress told me that? I told him it doesn't matter. He repeated again we don't have any positions. I asked well why is there a sign that says help wanted all positions available,? You need to take that sign down. I feel I witnessed first hand how this hispanic man was discriminated against. I left feeling upset and the owner just wanted to know which waitress I spoke to. I will NOT be coming back to this establishment if it's run by a person like that. I feel everyone should know what type of owner...

Been going here for about 5 years already came here today on a Saturday and absolutely disappointed! people come and go but the replacements with these waitresses are embarrassing and unprofessional ! These waitresses have no manner young and disrespectful and I still left a tip ! one girl dirty blond hair with glasses asked what I want to drink and I said coffee please she then said with cream and I said yes on the side ? I was confused because they usually don’t ask if you want cream they will put it on the side even if you don’t want it (at any diner) . She then proceeded while cutting me off and said we don’t put it inside for you it comes on the side rolls her eyes and takes my husbands order without letting me finish I asked for the manager and was told to wait and he never came we both were super surprised and left disappointed and won’t be returning please get better waitresses with...

Great food, waitress was amazing, busser was amazing as well. The owner was terrible, how he speaks to his employees, how he handles certain situations. As the busser is doing her job & I’m eating, the owner was being very rude to her telling her to redo and clean areas that she had already cleaned. One of the waitresses stepped up and said “she’s already doing it” he told her to “mind her business” and did the little zip it lock it put it your pocket hand gesture to her. As we’re walking out in a demanding entitled voice he says to the busser to re wipe again bc it wasn’t correct… I’d been coming here since a little girl and will not be back. I don’t stand for that. It was giving racism. I hope tht busser realizes her worth and leaves.. and every other girl...
