We visited the last weekend in September. With the season being over, they were staffed accordingly, but they got hit with an unexpected crowd. The service ended up being just a little slow as a result, but everyone was friendly and worked their tails off to get customers taken care of. They did a fantastic job! The atmosphere was amazing! We sat outside and there is a direct view of the ocean. They had live music and a DJ that night. I'm sorry I don't remember their name, but they added a great vibe to the chill, relaxing atmosphere. The best part for me had to be the food! I don't like sea food, but my mom and sister shared the bang bang shrimp and some fish tacos. They raved about the shrimp. I had the best onion rings...the batter was light and crispy and delicious. The chicken on my sandwich was tender and perfectly seasoned. They also offered local brews! We will definitely make this a must go to on our annual girls trip to Galveston!

Y’all, the service here was out of this world. We came in on a night when one of the waitresses had literally quit after she arrived, and instead of chaos, the team completely stepped up! The live music singer jumped right in bussing tables, and even though the bar and restaurant were running separate tabs, the ladies working that night made it feel seamless. They were such a great duo—hardworking, upbeat, and made sure everyone was taken care of. You could tell they genuinely cared about keeping the place running smoothly and making guests happy. Huge kudos to this team for turning what could’ve been a stressful night into one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely be back!

Spent a week camping on the beach and decided to stop in for a bite. It was just after labor day weekend so the season was officially over. Quiet, the place had a strong smell. Not unpleasant, just a smell. Got the fish and chips. They were some of the best I have had. Don't mind the ketchup I poured on my fries. Finished with a few beers and went my way. Price was reasonable. Would go back.

This restaurant has a great location. We were at Surfside and decided to try this place based on reviews, so many 5 star reviews, has to be good. Boy did we set ourselves up for disappointment. The first sign was the wait staff. Our waitress was super sweet and nice, but seemed totally clueless and scattered. She didn't have a clue what the special was, had to be flagged down for drink refills. And never brought us silverware. She also would get to talking with people she knew and never turn around or look to see if other tables needed her.

When he ordered drinks, my husband got the lemonade, I got a tea. He asked for water, and we were informed that they charged for water bottles because they were on well and their water didn't always taste good. The lemonade was Simply Lemonade. Brought out in the bottle.

We both got the fried fish, and our son got the chicken tenders. We also got mozzarella sticks. They tasted like Frozen sticks you can buy anywhere. Honestly, I didn't think they were bad, but both of the guys were disappointed. The chicken strips were overcooked and very bland. We had to flag down the waitress and ask if they had any kind of sauce. None was offered when we originally ordered. It didn't really help, They just were not that good.

The fish baskets were worse. They looked good, but the chunks were so thick, it's like they were overcooked to compensate and didn't taste very fresh. The batter was ok, but the fish was so thick, you were left eating big chunks of overcooked kinda tasteless whitefish. However their homemade horseradish "cocktail" sauce was awesome. It just couldn't save the fish. The fries were good, well seasoned and hot. The hush puppies were good, and the location was beautiful, with a unobstructed view of the ocean. It's just that the food was completely underwhelming. So, maybe you will have a better experience but we were feeling lied to by the...

We had a wonderful experience dining at this restaurant in Freeport, Texas. The food is absolutely fantastic; everything, from breakfast to the chicken wings, was delicious. Great food at a perfect price point.

What really stood out was the warm hospitality. The owners and chef personally came out to greet us, which added such a thoughtful, welcoming touch. The service was attentive and friendly from start to finish.

The atmosphere is just as memorable, good music, great vibes, and an unbeatable view of the sea. There’s something magical about enjoying a meal while looking out at the water. Whether you're with family or on a date night, this place is a must-visit.

We wish them continued success and can’t wait to return for many more meals...
