Vivian's Bakehouse — Restaurant in Freeport

This AMAZING bake shop is exactly what this incredible town neeeded….and how lucky we are to have Vivian and this place of baked goods bliss!

I am a proud Freeport native who now lives in Pittsburgh and frequently visit my hometown. This place has become a MUST stop by wherever I am home! The sourdough bread, rolls and of course those cinnamon rolls are worth driving any distance! They are each and all delicious!!

This shop begs my inner self to open a shop of some sort….but I can NOT bake a thing NEARLY as exquisite as Vivian’s! We stopped in for a treat Sunday morning and left with muffins and the sourdough. Weren’t planning on getting bread this morning but we simply couldn’t resist. The cinnamon roll with cream cheese icing was superb, the apricot danish…I’ll be getting another before my diet starts this week. Coffee was also very good. Was an excellent find and I hope they’re around...

Sourdough bread, ham & cheese croissants, cookies, Italian paninis, cinnamon rolls…thats all we have tried so far (they have only been in business a week). Off the charts amazing, for sure!
