Long time customer, although haven't been to the new location as often. I went today with my family to celebrate my son's football game that ended at 1145. We entered the restaurant at 12:10. When seated at the first table, with many tables available, there was water and food still on the seats and floor. When we were immediately seated, we had mentioned we had a baby but they didn't assist us, so I went behind the counter and retrieved my highchair. We waited 15 minutes for our server to come take our orders and then patiently waited a little over an hour for our server to return. Informing us that they still had two more tables ahead of us who still need the meals cooked. He did not an offer any apology or accommodation for any weight and expected us to understand the circumstances. We had now been here for an hour and 20 and we are now expecting to wait an extra half an hour for our food.i have time stamps from the game when we left and entered the restaurant. We inform them with our two small children that we would go ahead and close out our drinks and would not be waiting for the food. As I was closing out. I asked why Dallas why he had not informed me of the longer than normal wait times when we had placed our order. He told us he respectfully disagreed with needing to inform patrons of the longer than normal wait time and then he did not see a problem with how long we had waited. The owner was there so I asked to speak to him to the side. He told me he didn't have time because he was trying to catch up meals to talk to me about my concerns. I explained that I would prefer to tell him than to go to Google about my experience where he then asked me "what do you want from me". I told him all I asked for was that he be concerned that a patron waited up to an hour and a half and was leaving his restaurant without eating and to be more sympathetic and respectful to our time. This place was once my go-to place to show anybody a great breakfast place that was unique and different. Unfortunately, it feels as if they have changed their focus on atmosphere and Neil and is now now focusing on lower expenses.
Edit: I'm even more disappointed that the owner who had to rush back to cooking, claims to have went and pulled time security tapes and reviewed the situation with his staff then was able to so eloquently reply within 1 hour of my post while he was cooking, is an insult to anyone who would...
Read moreIf you're looking for a unique place with off the wall special types of eggs Benedict, I had a positive experience.
In the review, I'll start with the pros then list the cons and finally disclose where I'm not qualified to write an opinion.
Pros: Atmosphere. It's a really cool vibe in here with a rock and roll theme. They give you a CD that has a QR code on it that takes you too their menu on their website if you scan the code. Food: I got their steak Benedict called the Distance. Absolutely đŻ excellent flavor. It looked like sautĂ©ed vegetables, peppers onions and mushrooms (which I'm not a big fan of but they made taste good!) Apparently they do pickle their veggies in a balsamic vinegar. WOW! Flavor is really good. Hollandaise sauce - like nothing I've ever tasted before. Flavors of their house made special Hollandaise sauce was the perfect fit for the other flavors. Steak was tender, and cooked just the way I like it (med with pink). Fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious like fresh squeezed oj normally is. If they was to make it chilled that'd make it perfect.
Cons room for improvement: Fruit cup cost. The gentleman asked what side I'd like so I said fruit bowl. I was unaware of the additional cost ($1.50). -fruit cup taste. I'm not sure if they were white peaches or nectarines, but ripeness, and flavor of fruit (except the grapes) was severely lacking imo. In season fruit from the Fresno area, would be cool. -English muffin. Looked like a nice muffin, but it was obviously on the bottom and so all the juices from the sautéed veggies made it soggy. If their able to keep the muffin nicely toasted and crispy, that'll add a nice texture to the dish.
Where my opinion is not qualified: The actual vibe of the environment... it's a rock and roll themed joint. I love oldies, BUT I have no clue what's good or not. So I can't really speak to the specific niche this joint has created with a rock and roll theme.
All in all amazing food! Unique,...
Read moreWe arrived before the doors opened. Upon opening we were seated promptly. The menu looked creative and delicious. . High expectations since it was recommended.
The table was sticky, the server was short with his words and not polite. He questioned how much I was ordering for myself, which I felt was inappropriate. I did not ask how big the portions were and did not ask your opinion on how much I should order.
The food was overly sweet and not worth the price when combined with the service.
After reading the responses to the lower reviews I am shocked to see how rude the business representative is. Just because your restaurant is busy, does not mean it can't improve. Do better.
I always try to give credit where credit is due. I love complimenting businesses and their employees. So I do give a shout out to the other servers. I was impressed with how friendly they were with their tables. The other customers were very nice and you could tell they were receiving good service. Keep up the good work. You are the reason people keep coming back.

Thank you for responding. We were there Sunday for Fathers Day.
In regards to my issue with being asked if wanted the amount I ordered. I was the only one asked if âare you sure?â About my size of order. The tone of voice and facial expression were enough to make me feel uncomfortable.
I completely understand why you defend your staff. Todays society is very petty. I understand probably more than you think.
I appreciate that you did not take my critique of the service we received as âcoming at youâ and that you understood my concerns.
I appreciate you taking the time to listen to what I had to say. Congratulations on two locations. I remember when you were a food truck(not knocking the trucks either. Love food...
