Tacos Los Perez — Restaurant in Fresno

Pretty good taco truck in the area! I got the quesabirria plate and one gordita campechana. The quesabirrias were filled with plenty of meat (some taco trucks tend to skimp out) but it was lacking in seasonings. It was a bit bland buuuuut those salsas were SO good it made up for it. The red one was really spicy and the green one was creamy plus had good flavor. The consomé was also pretty bomb and not oily like some other places. I would defs get this plate again. Now on to the gordita, I don’t know about y’all but I’m used to only having meat, cheese, and beans in my gorditas so this one threw me off in the best way possible. It had lettuce, queso fresco, and sour cream. At first I didn’t know what to think from appearance alone, but that first bite was so crispy and flavorful that I was immediately hooked. I had never had a variation like this one and I’m definitely a fan. You def have to check this place out - will be coming again...

I hate to leave a negative review, but feel like I needed to share my experience. I ordered the quesabirria plate and I was looking forward to enjoying my lunch.The tacos were filled nicely with meat and cheese but when I took a bite, I realized that it was lacking seasoing. So I went ahead and dipped it in the consome, which didn't make it any better becasue it was also missing seasoning.As I said, this was my lunch and I was determined to make it work out so I used the red sauce (very spicy)and green sauce (mild and tasty) along with the lime to try and salvage the meal, but it jus didnt work out. From the picture, you can see that I couldnt even force myself to finish the second or third taco. And I hate to waste food but I really couldn't do it. I'll probably try their regular tacos or quesadilla in the future but most definitely will never...

We called to confirm the time they closed, the owner stated they stop taking orders at 7:20. We called at 7:05 to place a pickup order, but they never answered. At 7:16 we placed an order for pickup. When we arrived they said they could not make the order. We were ok with it, no big deal. The total for the food was 38.12, but when we asked for a refund they only wanted to return 35. They said online charges a fee and they can’t refund that fee. We literally had to request multiple times for our full refund. It was the principal at this point, the owner did not even come out to speak. He had an employee trying to explain what the owners directions were. Eventually they gave us our complete refund. We only requested a cash refund because they offered to do cash to begin with. However, I will not be ordering from this...
