Los Arcos — Restaurant in Friona

We drove down from Hereford to try this place out but we would have been better off staying in town and going to taco bell. I decided to order the chicken fried steak when I saw the look of confusion of the waitresses face after asking her how some of the dishes were prepared. I knew then I would have been better off stopping at allsups a few blocks up the road for a burrito or two. The queso dip was straight out of a nacho cheese can and it wasn't even warm. The CFS I certain was from a box. All in all the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The only reason I gave it one star is because it would not let me write a review if I didn't. My friends and I have had a terrible experience with this restaurant. Don’t get me wrong some of their food is good but they have gotten our order wrong more than 3 times and every time we call to let them know they always say we ordered wrong. We usually order the same thing so we know what we’re going to get. Today, we called because of the wrong order on two plates and the person that answered was rude and dismissive. Never be in a hurry. They are slow. Even if you're the only 1 there. Not quick on coffee refills, either. The food is decent to excellent depending on what you order. This western omlette was outstanding and well worth the price. Prices are comparable to other places. If you like small children, it's a plus because there's usually kids there with the staff.
