My husband and I was trying to figure out what we were going to have for dinner. It's Friday and of course there is no cooking in triple digit heat. Johnny's we decided on, as we walked in we were greeted by a very nice man. Mr. Steve he showed us the order counter, very clean establishment. The minute we walked in I knew Johnny's will be well liked by me. We ordered our pizza it just do happens the owner was behind the counter with his staff. The staff is consist of a group of very nice young men. Very pleasant very well mannered young men. It put a smile on my face to see. I thought of their parents as they should be very proud of them all. We were offered wine or beer while we wait for our pizza. We sat at the bar ordered a glass of Cupcake Moscato for myself and my husband ordered a beer. My wine was nice and chilled and hubby was pleased with his beer selection. The atmosphere is nice calm and very pleasant. You can dine in or take out. Hubby and I sat at the bar enjoyed our drinks having a very pleasant conversation with Mr Steve. It's refreshing to sit inside comfortably and enjoy a nice evening with good, nice folks this is what we received as we waited for our dinner. We cannot wait to try other dishes on the menu. We had half pepperoni, half margarita that's my fave. Hubby loves pepperoni. The pizza was Awesome!!!! The perfect amount of garlic etc. Pizza dough was very fresh. The sauce is exactly how I like it. Fresh and full of flavor. We decided we will do lunch next week since I will have a few days off from work. There is music playing which I enjoyed. Johnny's is the place to be. Pizza is great, staff is Wonderful. ❤🤩 if you haven't been please go visit have a beer, glass of wine and enjoy!!!!

If you’ve ever been to NYC and had pizza across any of the different boroughs, you will know what to expect. Goodness this place brings it all together and excels at the fundamentals: fresh cheese, authentic sauce and most importantly, the dough!! If you look at the picture below and think it looks like any other local pie shop that claims to serve NYC pizza, well think again!!! Jonny’s pizza has ENCRUSTED (see what I did there?) a very unique dough texture with flavor that are the hallmarks of authentic NYC Pizza - this taste is what every other local NYC pie shop strives for, but doesn’t get. Do yourself a favor and order from here. I ordered half cheese/half hamburger, mushrooms and black olives. That’s a 14” pie and it’s YUUUUUGE!!!! As I sat there reminiscing about my time in the city, I couldn’t help notice how many cheese pizzas these guys were cooking up and sending out. Clearly this place is a local favorite and the locals want to keep it a secret. But it’s people like me giving back to people like you thru this review out of the blue so that you too will be among the few to try it and come see what the fuss is all about. Bring your appetite.

Being from Brooklyn NYC, I have looked for a pizza place that comes close to home. I was told Johnny’s was it and actually didn’t disappoint. Let’s start with the pizza it’s self, the flavor was great, the dough was the problem as again Texans make it way too thin because our pizza isn’t as thin like they think it is. Now the crust on the end is actually perfect. Sauce was pretty good too and the presentation was spot on to NYC. The bottom of the slice was crispy but again way too thin. When I folded the pizza like I do back home it stayed and didn’t flop like other TX pizza’s. The garlic knots now: Knots were fluffy and more like a Sweet roll in texture but I’ll give them 3/5 because they need to be a little more crispy. The restaurant it’s self was clean, staff were friendly and the restrooms spotless. Great location and plenty of parking. Decor was lacking a little but it’s well lit. Lots of TV’s and a fountain for your drinks. I’ll be coming back to this pizza place because it really is the closest to my beloved Brooklyn Slice. Next time I’ll skip the knots and try more of the pizza. Ps: If you’re from NYC this is the spot to eat at.

I'd like to first off say that they make a good NY style pizza. The problem is they are so wildly inconsistent with any level of customer service that I just can't go back despite that. Each time they are massively late on what they claim onions as to when the pizza will be ready. I've now waited 1hr, 40min, and 25 min respectively on my last three visits waiting on a "your pizza is ready" for pickup notification.

It seems a lot of these pizza places simply don't have any staff that seems to give a darn about the customer. For the 4th time now, I walk in, Uber app says the pizza is ready. I ask up at the front ..the young man wanders around pokes at a few boxes and talks to one of the cooks. Then proceeded to wander away and roam the room. No feedback on my pizza. So I stop him in the way back to the counter...did you have my order and he responds "yeah we got your order"....and then wanders off again! Ok...so I'm thinking I guess they just need more time to actually make the pizza. 15 min past the time arrived, I see the man walk out with another one of the counter folks with a large salad which he proceeds to just eat behind the bar. No pizza....everyone who was waiting has already left. Then the woman who looks like she could care less to be there, goes behind the counter and sees me standing there and eventually gets to me. By that time, I've spotted my pizza sitting up on the oven the entire time. She asked me what I needed and I pointed out my pizza on the oven. She pulls the ticket and notices something is missing (pepperoni roll). She proceeds to them grab every bag on the oven and finally finds mine in a corner. She grabs both and shoved it across the counter and says nothing. Okey dokey. Good pizza...lousy service. Won't be...

Excellent pizza, poor service. Ordered at the counter last Sunday evening, sat patiently for 35 minutes waiting for our order. Went to check on it and the cashier walked over to ask the pizza maker. It didn't seem to ring a bell and together they looked over the dozen or so order slips until they found mine. They both seemed to have that "oh-oh" look at that point. The cashier then told me it would be 20 minutes, coincidentally about the time it takes to make a pizza. "We're really busy tonight and there were a couple of large orders ahead of yours," he told me with a tone of annoyance that I should dare question him. Sure enough, 20 minutes later our order was ready. Obviously, we fell through the cracks. These things happen on occasion, but it seems to be a regular occurrence (see my earlier review from some time ago). It was the cashier's attitude, unwillingness to admit what happened, and complete lack of apology for the oversight that was unacceptable. Especially considering we had a $72 order. They were steady-busy, but nowhere near as busy as many pizza places. There is no reason a pizza order like mine should have taken 1 hour. Giving one star this time because this is the second time they've forgotten about us - and with no sense of remorse. Judging from some of the other reviews, this seems to be a way of doing business for them. Too bad, because we REALLY like the pizza, it's some of the best we've found! But their mismanagement kills it. They really could use some order management processes and customer...
