Panda wok — Restaurant in Fruit Cove

HOLY MOLE! I don’t know how else to describe the food coming out of this place. It’s simply fantastic. Most Chinese places have a disgusting breading and use dark meat. Panda Wok is using a much lighter, crispy, breading that tastes phenomenal and… WHITE MEAT CHICKEN?! Either that, I’m blind or the chicken is so good and fresh it tastes white lol. Let’s not forget about the speedy and super friendly service. This small but clean restaurant has about 3 (could have been 4) dine-in tables and the owner was coming out to check on her guests. You can tell she is passionate about her business! I was provided a sample (without asking) so that I may try out their breading and I was sold! I WILL be driving from beyond 218 & blanding to get to this place because it is well worth it! You are doing yourself a disservice if you drive past this place without giving it a shot.Thank you Panda Wok for the amazing food, the chicken sample and kindness you have shown. I like to try out places that I haven't been to and I came across this place after a quick Google search. As someone who reviews alot I was dying to see how it was . First off I called rather late and placed a large order about twenty minutes before closing. I was assured this wasn't a issue and my order was taken . After arriving I noticed the cute little place that was relaxing and warm and inviting 😌 I enjoyed looking at the fish tank as I waited on my order . I was offered a cold drink out of the soda and water fridge while I waited . My food was done around 5 minutes after I arrived . The sweet and sour chicken was amazing and wasn't just breading like most places . Pure chunks of chicken . The cream cheese Rangoon was so yummy and I wish I ordered more . The egg rolls where also very great and where free with a order or Rangoon. We enjoyed the Lo mein also 😋 big nice portions that made enough for our dinner plus lunch the next day. I cant wait to try more items...

Many a times you go to a restaurant and their food tastes good 1st time, maybe even 2nd time but 3rd time, it is meh and then you never end up going again. HOWEVER, this place we have been going consistently now for almost a year and it's become our default first choice restaurant for weekend dinners. To the point that when we have guests over and shared the food with them, they want to come back and have more. Having said that I have tried almost all of the chicken dishes and all are GREAT! My daughter loves their Orange chicken and I love the Udan Noodles with vegetables. This is a family owner small place and their SERVICE IS THE BEST! The most hospitable owners I have met! I do not give 5 stars easily and they deserve more than 5 stars!
