Pie Pantry — Restaurant in Fruit Heights

Wow was it bad! Pie pockets were hard as rocks, super dry, overcooked, nothing flakey about them, and the filling was just colored sugar goo. We tried 5 different kinds and they were all bad. No fruit to be found in any of them just the aforementioned goo.

We were the only ones in there but the tables were filthy - not just a table or two but all of them. Two girls working the counter were both in the back chatting. The one that helped us was condescending and not helpful at all. We all kind of laughed at how bad it was after a couple of bites and then threw the food in the trash and left. I have been coming to Pie Pantry for as long as I can remember and I love the pie pockets, but it's almost impossible to get them. They close at 10:30, but go in after 5 or 6 and good luck getting anything. Went in at 7 today and were completely sold out of all pie pockets, and had only chapple whole pies left. Pie pantry not what it should be called first of all. The only way to get a piece of regular pie is to order a whole pie or other wise you get a pie pocket. Not what I expected. Also no cream pie till the weekend. This place is limited on pie. So why call it pie pantry?.. disappointed. I could have went to the store and got a hostess pie in that case and taste just okay.
