Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Fullerton

Visited on 3-13-21. Cindy was polite and helpful. The manager and cook definitely not so much. We ordered a Western burger, Super Star and some chicken. Got home to find bbq sauce on my Super star. No big deal I know accidents happen. We left the rest of the food at home to get the buger replaced real quick. They were apologetic and remade the buger, but when I checked before leaving it again had bbq. Idk if the cook was having a long day or someone accidentally restocked the ketchup with bbq, but again accidents happen. I was not angry. This is where my complaint really starts. I showed them the burger and was told the brown sauce was ketchup. I tasted it, definitely bbq. The manager and cook called me a liar and jeered at me that I don't know what ketchup is. I had a long day and just wanted my dinner without arguing, so I asked them to remake it with just mayo. More screaming and jeering. Then I guess I needed to be "taught a lesson" as the final burger had no bbq sauce but was incredibly burnt. I never asked for free food, or a refund, so idk what they thought I had to gain by asking them to make the burger without bbq. A very disappointing experience that makes me very hesitant to ever return to...

I usually do not comment but I am completely embarrassed for this owner so I will do them a courtesy there is a manager (because i didnt het her name) Hispanic woman here who made me feel very uncomfortable and assumed that I was trying to get a free refill of a 2 dollar drink, I'd spilt my drink outside and was coming to refill. She says to me if you walk out and come in you will be charged again. She was not understanding and did not ask any questions to ask me has anything happen...I don't like to label people as I don't know this woman personally but I felt very discriminated against...she seems to feel confident in her behavior because apparently the owner does not check these reviews. However I am quite persistent so I will be posting this same message everyday until I here back from the owner about this rude woman. Place was clean, restrooms clean and paper maintained dispensers. Employees had a smile and greeted me. Gladly took my order. It was prepared expidtiously. Freshly cooked and served within minutes. Carl's always has great food. Been coming to the stores since the 60's. I have to say, their commercials using the mother, her still thinking she "has it" is a bust up. She isnt afraid to do pratfalls. She is a keeper. Dont use her and forget her. Want to see more of her...
