Sakura Japanese Cuisine Hibachi & Sushibar — Restaurant in Gadsden

Second time ordering delivery from here. Both times it was correct, on time, and delicious. I'm thinking that I may be moving up in economic class and hadn't yet realized it though. Why? Because of the other reviews. I see bad reviews about price versus amount of sushi. One complained about the size of the special rolls received for $40. 40 bucks for 3 special sushi rolls sounds like a bargain deal to me, like that was the daily special. I would expect them to be small for that price. Quality sushi is expensive. I know where I can get sushi for 7 or 8 bucks a roll, but it's not real and it's not quality. It's all they can make without the special requirements being met to serve sushi quality raw seafood. Anyway... back to this meal. The sushi was prepared perfectly and was the correct proportion for the mid range price. The rest of the meal was a great deal! I've yet to find anyplace else that I can get the same quality Japanese food...

What a great little Japanese restaurant! The owners and staff take good care of us each time we come. The chef makes beautiful sushi and it tastes as good as it looks! The sushi to rice ratio is perfect. I love the sushi and sashimi - very fresh! My daughter loves the spicy tuna maki off the Basics Rolls, the Super Crunchy Roll off the Special Rolls, the Crab Salad and and boba teas. I have also had the tempura which is golden, crispy and light. There is alot to the menu so take your time and look through it to find something to your taste. You can also find something new to try, you won’t go wrong! I worked at a Japanese restaurant in Atlanta for eleven years and this is my go to place here in Gadsden. Our waitress Vicky was so pleasant and knew every ingredient in any entree we asked about as it was our first time. She gave EXCEPTIONAL service and we thoroughly enjoyed her bubbly presence and sweet personality. The food was amazing and I cannot wait to come back. I ordered the special Holiday roll and Honeydew bubble tea and omg it was perfect! My husband got lunch chicken hibachi and the wow roll and it was also cooked to perfection and everything tasted beyond great!!
