I've always wanted to give this place a try and I'm glad I did! As I stepped inside the coffee smelled amazing and was taken away by the clean and unique atmosphere of this establishment. I was taken care of by a young lady who was very friendly and professional. I put in an order and took a table .The table was not 100% cleaned but it took me 5 seconds to wipe down some crumbs. The soda fountain machine lacked many options by other establishments , but they know the game and had all the biggest players (Mountain Dew Pepsi Dr. Pepper etc) . As I started to enjoy my meal I noticed the presentation was absolutely on deck . I've never tried a real Mexican Shrimp taco before but the options were very welcoming . The Lime chunks alone were just the chefs kiss. I tried my order of two enchiladas one beef and one chicken . Both of which were cooked to perfection with an excellent show of presentation. As I enjoyed my meal I found the overall atmosphere and music more and more enjoyable . Overall the meal while it was not the best I've had in this world I would easily say its a top 5 for me. If Broncos is too busy I would highly suggest giving this establishment a try or even if you want to try a unique experience I would highly recommend this location. Even the bathrooms were cleaned to perfection. The prices and proportion's were more then fairly generous for the quality of the meal. I do plan on returning one day in the near future for a follow up and to seek out my next...
Read moreWe enjoyed wet breakfast burritos here and the flavors were spot on! The size of the burrito was fair for the $11.49/each we paid. Coming from the west, it was nice to see chile offered with the burritos to make them smothered! The biggest piece of feedback I have is on the cook of the bacon. The bacon in my burrito was practically raw - hardly warmed, no crunch. It was so chewy that I removed most pieces as I found them. I'm hoping this is a rare occurrence. My husband's sausage burrito was cooked well - he certainly enjoyed it. I am excited to try Chorizo next! In looking at the menu, I'm also eager to taste the 4 soups they have - Gaffney needs more places with authentic soup! We look forward to coming...
Read moreI was with a group of 6 old people who decided to meet for lunch in Gaffney. We selected La Cocina from the great ratings it got and the good reviews. We were severely disappointed to find it occupying an old Huddle House (or so it appears). However, it was clean and neat so we went ahead with out dinner. It could't have been nicer. The waitress was GREAT, the food was GREAT and the prices very reasonable. Don't let the building deter you. If you like Mexican food, you will...
