It was Saturday night. They were short staffed and it was pretty full inside. When we pulled up there must've been some event outside finishing up, because there was some loud music playing that had us almost turning around until we realized it wasn't coming from inside the building. The hostest (a transplant from the Midwest, and the kindest, sweetest girl ever!) squeezed us in. It was still a bit noisy because of the crowd, but we could hear each other talk, and there wasn't any loud music that was hurting our ears, so thst was good! We missed out on the Prime Rib (it seemed like everyone in town got there first), but oh, have you tried Cheese Steaks Perogies? WOAH! Yeah, if I wasn't sharing the appetizer that could've happily been my entire meal! We ordered a Steak Quesadilla and Chicken Alfredo as well, and they did not disappoint. We ordered an Apple Chimmichanga with a scoop of vanilla ice cream to share for dessert. It looked fantastic! The Chimmichanga was topped with cinnamon and sugar and the entire dessert was placed on a plate drizzled with caramel sauce. All of that, mixed with that delicious ice cream (which on its own was perfect), was mouthwatering! My ONLY complaint about the food was that the apples inside the dessert were not hot. In fact, one bite was kinda chilly. The waitress offered to take it back and have it warmed up, which would have been fine, but we were so full from our feast at that point that it'll be warmed up at home later and properly enjoyed. We will definitely be back - and with Prime Rib night reservations! (I wish I thought to take pictures of those perogies. Honestly, if you haven't had them, you are...
Read moreOne of the things I hate to do is leave a bad review for a place I grew up loving. Bare with me as this one hurt. Went on the prime rib night recently. We havnt been there for 5+ years together. I got the prime rib and she got a fish. Medium rare for me since I really like rare anyway. Let me tell you whoever cooked my prime was more concerned with how baked they were, than if my steak even touched a heat source. My partner even commented "is that gray?". The cut was perfect, meat good quality, but cooked without any care or love. Supwr salty as well. At home, 5 min in the air fryer alongside the freezer burnt fries made me feel like I didnt just light 40 bucks on fire. Coleslaw is pretty good if brought out cold not at room temp. Haddock was really a shining point. Yay, they didnt mess up the easiest white fish. You can get any kind of sandwiches/salads/pizzas and sides as a cheese steak or a Philadelphia dirivitive, just add steakums and cheese. Honestly, I'm going to continue to go to the Pike (even the aclohic dude had a salad bar and made banging steaks). 100%percent sure the owner was our waitress and wasnt necessarily the most attentive. Compared to the other ladies and gentleman I saw serving tables around us. All in all won't be going back here again until major changes in...
Read moreMy husband and I went there on Saturday May 24th 2025 for our anniversary dinner and waited 30 minutes for a hostess to acknowledge us or to simply take our name to eventually seat us. Not one person came to the front to see that 5 different families were waiting to be seated. We were all ignored by wait staff, bartenders, and the hostess. Even if one person were to come and say they were busy or I'm sorry or ask if ANY of us have been taken care of, we all would have understood. Don't know if it was spite, understaffed or what. If it was an off day or servers were new, we all would have understood, but this was very rude of ALL the staff to not even acknowledge that multiple families were waiting to be sat or even told that the wait would be however many minutes. Every person working that night walked past the front without so much as a glance over to see all of us waiting there. Extremely disappointed. I know it was a holiday weekend and everbody waiting understood that, but the fact that everyone working that night ignored customers reflects poorly on...
