So, I'm not really understanding why people feel this is a good place to eat. I just came in from Michigan to visit family and we decided to eat here. Bad mistake. It is July 6th and we got here about 445pm. We get in and it's not to busy, maybe 4 tables including us. My brother and his wide order alcoholic drinks, the waitress states there is no one here who can make drinks as she is only 18 and the only person here....interesting being that dinner rush is about to start. Appetizers no real issue the pickles didn't come with ranch, then the fun begins, diet pepsi out of syrup...they bring me a can and they say that's it. My food comes way before anyones...by 30 minutes. The pulled pork was cold...cheese is hard because it's cold....then 4 kids get there food, I'm already done. No silverware. Shake never came...finally does.my brother and his wife still no food. They ordered the prime rib sandwich....finally comes after sitting in window for 30 min....no au just, we ask...she co.es back...there out...cold meat...cheese....food wasn't good at all...as were leaving 2 and a half hours later. Place is packed.....why did I stay so lo g you ask. .cause I believe in giving the service staff a chance when it's not there fault. At the end...she was not happy...we...
Read moreRe-Review Update After checking this place out we decided to head back and give er another shot. OK here is the scoop- Pizza keeps the same review, just not that tasty. HOWEVER, if you get past the pizza, the atmosphere is festive and their burgers are quite tasty. People are very friendly and the deck is a GREAT place to throw a few back and enjoy the vibe. I thought it was only fair to check the Antler Package and Pizza out again and I have to say its a pretty festive place.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Was looking forward to some good pizza and appetizers on a Saturday Evening after coming off the river. Keeping this short. Waitress was attentive and friendly, thats for the 1 star.
We ordered a couple pizzas, and some spinach dip. Spinach dip was ok, nothing to run home and talk about than the pizza came out. We waited a looooong time for the food, way too slow. Pizza was edible but seriously not good at all. Crust seemed like it was pulled out of the freezer and was not cooked properly. Pizza was not tasty at all. I would have preferred to have ran over to Casey's and picked up a gas station pie.
I would not recommend this place for pizza to anyone, in fact I would take the name Pizza out of the...
Read moreThey didn't seem that busy but I overheard an employee saying they were short-handed so take my review with a grain of salt. First of all, we had to wait over 45 minutes before the one appetizer we ordered arrived (fried pickles). It was tasty. It was another 10 minutes before only one of the four meals we ordered came out, then another 5 minutes for one more to arrive. The fish sandwich was supposed to have lettuce and tomato I believe but it was only two fish planks on a bare bun. It was another 10 minutes before the last two meals (kids meals) came out, both of them missing the ice cream cup they were supposed to come with. After about 75 minutes someone finally offered to refill our coffees at which time they apologized for the lack of refills but not for the poor service. At this point I was craving some pecan pie but I was too afraid to order it. We were not rude so I don't think the staff was purposely avoiding us but I'm afraid I have a low tolerance for this quality of service. Hopefully this was an isolated incident. We may return in the future to give them a chance to redeem themselves but, in the meantime, we will not be recommending this...
