Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Gainesville

Lost a customer. Have been a Marcos Pizza customer long before the franchise came to Gainesville. This is the newest location to open. It's a challenge to get to, but I was in the area, so placed a call to learn about carry-out specials. I was told carry out specials are only offered online. So, if you call ahead, or go in store to order, you will pay full price. Thankfully, the other Gainesville location up on NW 13th and 39th value their customers, they don't have an "online only" policy. By the way, the north location is not affiliated with this Tower Road location. I highly recommend the north Gainesville 13th/39th or even the Ocala location on US 27. Ordered delivery online, it was past the delivery estimated time. But I had called at 6:25 to make sure the order was received they said the order should arrive within 10 minutes. The website said it was delivered at 6:11. After constant refreshing it said delivered around 6:48. The pizza was thrown on the ground, the pizza was practically out of the box and when I opened it, three slices were missing. I spoke with the manager and she was saying “it sounded sketchy”, she seemed so hesitant to even offer me store credit. I’ve never had any issues with their stores before. I live at the apartment complex across the street. literally 2min walk. got a $9 pizza tipped $5. 40min later it still says not ready online. drive over to wait. walk in and it’s sitting on the rack. cold. tipped $5 for a cold pizza. whatever it happens. ask for a garlic sauce bc last time it was free. irl asks for .70 i said last time it was free and she hands it to me with a weird look.
