I first start by saying I waited till I had been 3 times before righting this review to make sure it’s accurate and consistent with the restaurant. I dined in twice and took to go once. Food: the food was amazing and tasted fresh and warm each time. Portions were really good as well. Service: first I will say the staff is super friendly and service was great. They were walking around and asked us how we liked our food and even though they don’t need to they once offered to take our trays for us. A small service but really shows they care about the small things. Now I had to put 4 stars for service just for a personal hot take on credit card up charges. This place charges a percentage fee if you use a card. Be it debit or credit. The way I see it and the way it should be and how credit cards deal with merchants is that the fee is the “price to pay” to have have or receive that customer base. I.e. business pay a percentage fee to be able to accept Amex, Chase etc. customers. Often times businesses will pass on that cost to the customer and really not only makes using a card sometimes feel bad or just very slightly makes the experience less. it shows the more so a bit of greed or penny pinching in a business and I don’t quite like this practice. Now I will say this though. The prices for food here and with the portions are very good so it’s not too much of a bother. Though even if they just raised the price of the food 3-4 percent across the board just to not have to charge a fee if someone uses a card seems better than punishing in a way card users. Hopefully in like 3-6 months the food prices are still the same (I will Update my review saying if they did) I would’ve put 3 stars for service for their card fee but the food prices are good so I bumped it up an extra star. Atmosphere: very nice place and thankfully a Mexican restaurant that actually plays Mexican/spanish music and not American pop or other unrelated genres like other places or American owned Hispanic food places. That for me says a lot about how genuine this place is. At the time of writing this review the bar was not open as they are still waiting on their licenses but I am looking forward to their bar and will update that experience as soon as their bar opens. To conclude: Go eat here and try it out. I find it hard to think anyone will be disappointed. Food is amazing and price is good Update: I have decided to change my review to 5 stars. I had probably short talk with the owner about the place and really made me understand more of the workings of their business and their vision for the place. I really respect how true to their vision they are staying and hope they succeed and hope to see this place thrive. Thank you so much for a genuine and fresh experience

I’ve been visiting Tacos N Todo in Gainesville for a while now, and I can confidently say they’re one of the best local spots for tacos. Eduardo and his team go above and beyond with service, always taking the time to explain the menu and check in on how you’re enjoying your meal. The tacos here stand out because the proteins are always packed with incredible flavor, and the tortillas have a unique half-cooked style that adds just the right amount of crisp. My personal favorite is the VAMPIRO – a smaller taco-style quesadilla that’s perfectly crunchy and loaded with your choice of protein. It’s always cooked to perfection. 🌮 Their hot sauces are no joke – spicy but with great taste. The restaurant itself is spacious, and even when it’s busy, the food comes out hot, fresh, and quickly. If you’re in Gainesville, you have to stop by and try it for yourself. Be sure to tell Eduardo that Roli Eats sent you and grab a CHICKEN VAMPIRO! Highly recommend. Edit: They've added BARBACOA to their protein options AND they've added these new PISTOLEROS on their menu and they are awesome. Think of like a GIANT egg rolls, 4 pieces. You get to pick two different proteins id you'd like. I picked chicken and barbacoa. Edit 3/7/2025: Their CARNE ASADA plate is AWESOME. Their steak is seasoned to perfection with the right amount of rice and beans. Plenty of steak and a side of tortillas. I was told if I needed more, to just ask but the quantity was spot on. Tacos N Todo is a hidden gem that brings the authentic flavors of California-style Mexican food to Georgia. From the moment we walked in, the service was impressively speedy and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the Pistoleros, which are a delicious cross between a veggie roll and a deep-fried burrito. The flavor was amazing, and the chipotle sauce added a delicious kick. My wife tried the Menudo, which was hearty and flavorful. It truly reminded us of the authentic Mexican food we enjoyed back in California, a rare find since we moved here a few years ago. We also brought my in-laws along, who are notoriously picky eaters, and even they were impressed. They couldn't stop raving about how delicious the food was. Tacos N Todo is definitely a place we will be returning to often! If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Mexican food with a touch of California nostalgia, Tacos N Todo is the place to go. Highly recommended! PS. There’s a secret menu to the left of the main menu above the counter if you want to try out some more delicious treats.
