Our family was super excited to visit this coffee shop in this beautiful rural area. The coffee shop is located on Main Street and is easy to find. The atmosphere was a bit conflicted, with some country vibes, some industrial style decor, plenty of witchcraft type decorations, and some patriotic walk hangings. Although the witchcraft-type stuff made me a bit uncomfortable, we all wanted to sample what they had to offer. They have an extensive menu, with additional specialty offers on small chalkboards throughout. Unfortunately, the drinks were mediocre at best, with the bubble tea being WAY too sweet, the frappe being very melty, and all the espresso drinks being made WITHOUT espresso! Little did I know the coffee is just a sweet addition to the most kind, hardworking, and deserving family I now have the pleasure of knowing!
A year later we returned to the area and I couldn't get enough of this place! I will forever cherish my conversations with Susan learning about the community, and her dreams of helping the community evolve.
I will also be dreaming of all the unbelievable pastries Susan sent me home with. (Do yourself a favor and go there RIGHT NOW to try her oatmeal cookie pies and a nice frozen brew!) Until next time... we love you Main Street Coffee...
