Nittany Minit Mart — Local services in Galeton

Nice little store, but it seems to have the same problem as their Smethport store. We travel along Route 6 occasionally mostly in the morning and stop for fuel, a pit stop, and maybe grab a breakfast sandwich or pizza and this is the problem. They very, very, rarely have anything ready to go. Of course they will make one for you, but we have a long drive ahead of us and don't have the time to wait.

It's become a running joke with us to see if there's anything waiting in the racks and 95% of the time or more there isn't. We also drive by Nittany's in the evening and it's at prime time(5-6 PM)thinking pizza or something will be in the racks and once again they're empty. Am I expecting they'll make something for us day after day? No, because we're not everyday travelers along Route 6 but at least we'd like to see what their food tastes like. lol We'll still stop anyway in spite of my complaint because for some reason I like...

It's a nice little shop, but it's not a very family friendly environment. I was disappointed when I first walked in and heard they were playing pop music. I kinda expected a nice place like that to be playing some good old country music here in this beautiful country side. I was also disappointed when I noticed 2 slot machines to my right when I walked through the doors. Why in the world does a little shop like that need slot machines? That's what the casino is for! Terrible manager on-duty tonight (2/11/2022). He would not accept my government issued passport for ID to purchase 6-pack of white claw. Then when I debated that it was illegal to refuse the sale to me, he would not let me purchase the rest of my order and threatened to call the police on me.
