So I ordered breakfast for 4 men at work Sunday morning, order totaled $47.00 as we all get big breakfast and do this multiple times a month. I get there to pick up my order and upon getting back to work discover they have given me the wrong order. There was the same amount of boxes I would have expected and the money due was also fitting. Soo we go to open our breakfast and there is 4 containers of 2 eggs and toast with a side of bacon. I call to inform them and immediately get told it was my fault and they weren’t going to do anything to resolve my issue due to 2 waitresses who lied and said they recited my order for confirmation. Clearly if they recited my order I would have agreed because it sounded correct, I go back to get the correct order and ask they would do is give me the original order which has now set for 45 minutes. I get back to grab that and the manager, I’m front of the busy dining area claimed I was a liar and his waitresses were saints who would never be capable of a mistake. I was furious at the allegation!!! NEVER WILL WE ORDER FROM YOU AGAIN!!’ This punk manager handled this in the poorest possible way it could have been handled. It won’t hurt that we won’t ever order from you again but I pray that my review reaches enough people to stir them in a different direction than your parking lot. I have never been that humiliated or angry for something that was clearly a mistake on their part. Rant over,...

You can see the locals that say β€œthe food is great” the way they go on, one that doesn’t know better, may think it’s some hidden gem. It’s not. It’s your run of the mill greasy spoon with the quality you’d expect for a run of the mill greasy spoon. Their prices are fair, food is good, large portions, and staff is typically fast and polite. All the right recipe for a fast meal with your family. I do end up going here about 2-3 times a month. Like I said, the food isn’t bad. Prices are fair. Servers are fast and polite. It’s wheelchair accessible.

The bad: tables are too close set to one another, you can reach from one table to the next if you’re in search of your favorite jelly. If you’re looking to have a somewhat private conversation with the person/people you are with, you will not find it here. There is absolutely no way 2 wheelchairs could pass one another in the corridor area. The corridor area is quite cramped for even people on 2 feet if you are coming or going and there happens to be a wait for tables. Feels like a bit of a fire hazard really; should one break out in...

If Granny's Kitchen was closer to Marion, my husband would stop by every day for breakfast. My husband drops me off at work at 6:30 every morning. Then he'll go have breakfast. We go there almost every Thursday after I get off work. Their all you can eat spaghetti is delicious. It keep us coming back for more. And their sausage gravy tastes just like my husband's granny used to make 40 years ago. He wondered how they got her recipe. Lol. Their beans and ham soup is just like my mom made. It's delicious. My husband loves their stuffed green pepper soup. And the coffee is the best coffee around. The service is great as well. The waitresses make you feel right at home. We have only had one waitress though because my husband keeps asking for the same one every time we go there. But I'm sure they are all good. The ambiance is like an old fashioned country kitchen. Makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Come as you are, no need to get dressed up fancy here. And their prices are very reasonable and the serving sizes are more than enough. We are glad...

*Hearty portions of local sourced "REAL FOOD" home cooked to perfection and priced right! They have a diverse menu with everything from all day breakfast and fresh made soups and pies to their daily specials 7 days a week. I drove over an hour from Akron to try their "Riskit for the Biscuit" eating challenge and was not disappointed. It was absolutely DELICIOUS, I finished it under the 40min time limit and received my meal for free, a cool T-shirt and my picture up on their "Wall of Fame"!!! Would and will definitely make the drive again to enjoy some of Granny's great cooking! Thanks.

I want to give 5⭐ for the food. Portion size large and prices are great for this home cooked food. I gave a 3⭐for the dining experience. A very crowed dinning room. Tables with only one person space to walk, hard to enjoy the experience with people almost on top of each other. I would do carry out, but eating in, it's not for me. Server had very little customer relation. No welcome or friendly smile. Shame, because the place seems to have had a face lift. Beautiful, but to small for that crowed room.

I did the Risk it for the Biscuit Challenge and all the food was exceptional! Biscuits were some of the best I've literally ever had, and huge! The Sausage Gravy was very good, eggs cooked perfectly to order. I can't say enough about the quality and flavor in this LARGE home cooked meal. πŸ˜‹ Definitely stop by if you're in the area! You won't be disappointed. πŸ‘Œ
