I stayed at the Gallitzin Station Inn about 200 meters away. I ordered the Turkey Club and Railroad Tie Fries. Both were excellent! The fries had a great potato taste( no old grease infused flavor.) staff was friendly. Interior gave off the classic Pennsylvania small town vibes. It looks like Pizza was a popular choice for the diners when I walked in to get my order. Definitely recommend for low key dinner or take out. As I understand it, the kitchen closes a couple hours before the bar. Worth calling and inquiring so you don’t miss out.

Quaint neighborhood pub and eatery that could easily double as the town historical society! Enjoyed the food, an ice cold beer, and the (probably) hundred year old woodwork in the beautiful interior of this historic building. We will definitely stop again when in the area.

I stop here when I'm staying next door at Bobs the Tunnel Inn. Great food like usual n love the waitresses. I highly recommend this place. Esp for football season!

Walked in at 1830 on a Thursday. The occupancy at the time was 3 gentlemen playing pool and a single couple having dinner at a four top. My family, which includes 2 military service members, who get together twice a year was looking to have dinner for the 8 of us. We were turned away for two reasons: It was pool league and they got all the "big" tables. (And my favorite) was they have a policy against pushing 2 four top tables together to accommodate. I'm sorry, Sir, but you could have made an acception for you quiet evening. Who gives up an 8-10 person dinner and drink...

My visits here seem to be hit and miss but overall it's decent. There are usually new and different people working so that could attribute to the inconsistent experience. I like the pizza and club sandwich. Also my friend goes crazy for their wings. I have had a few food orders that either had a bland taste or small portion but I suppose just like almost anywhere else you're bound to run into that. The atmosphere is relaxing enough and even though I'm not into sports those who are still enjoy the big screen TVs everywhere. Plus......
