Visited here on a Saturday in low season and there were quite a few folks inside and outside perhaps because of live band later. Gotta say overall I was disappointed. First off they don’t let you park near the restaurant but a guy in a golf cart waved us down as we were driving around confused and told us the deal. I don’t like that at all so big turn off immediately but we went in. You park in a big gravel lot and can then walk or the golfcart guy will take you. I have never seen anything like this and just don’t get it. In high season I am guessing you are walking it. If you are expecting anything to remind you of Jimmy Buffett this is just a commercial franchise and pays no homage to him just uses his lyrics to name dishes and cocktails which was Another big turn off. I had the fish tacos and hubby had a pizza. We both had the Fins margarita. Everything was just OK. The pizza crust was mediocre. The tacos were made with mahi but not much of it. I liked the Avocado added. Chips and salsa to accompany were average store bought it seemed. We decided to add a shot of pineapple jalapeño tequila to the margarita and were charged $12.50 per shot. That’s the cost of a whole bottle of the stuff. Inside you sit on taller chairs and tables and the chairs are very hard to pull in. The ladies restroom was out of TP, but it was clean. The large wide stairs to go in would not be legal in some states without a center handrail. James was our server and very personable. Food Service was fast. the bar was a little slow, but full of customers. We did Not stay for the live band. To leave we waited for the golf cart to swing by. The restaurant and RV spots are overpriced for what you get And the parking was off putting to me. I won’t return or go to any...

We went on a Friday at about 5:00 p.m. The place was not super busy there were plenty of tables. We were seated within a few minutes however I had to get up after nobody came to our table for 30 minutes. I had to ask the hostess to make sure the waitress knew we were there. When she finally got back over there, we ordered. The peel and eat shrimp had zero flavor. They just brought us shrimp that tasted like it was boiled in water sitting on ice. There was no cocktail sauce or lemon. I had to ask them to bring us cocktail sauce which took about 10 minutes. We each got a drink and it took so long to get a frozen margarita They were both on the rocks by the time we got them. Food is incredibly expensive for what you get. We spent almost a hundred bucks on a hamburger, some chicken tacos, the shrimp appetizer and two drinks. I think the waitress was new I don't really blame her but when you have new people you should have someone experienced shadowing them so they don't get overwhelmed. Waiting 30 minutes to even get a glass of water is ridiculous for the price of this place. The burger and the tacos were decent But everything is definitely too pricey. The waitress was sweet but overwhelmed completely with two tables. The resort is nice and the guys that pick you up in a golf cart were helpful because it's...

We are a Mexican American mix family and we definitely didn’t felt welcome. First they put us on a 45-60 minute wait,(the hostess was very punctual on telling us that we have to be within 10 minutes from when I got the text message) then after 30 minutes they suddenly sit us up stairs in an empty room next to another table or not so white people. Most of the white crew was downstairs next to the bar and they were empty rambles around but they didn’t seat I there. After we got seated, we waited 10 minutes and nobody came to take our order. After that time we ended up going down stairs to get someone to take our order, we ordered drinks and food at the same time since we have been waiting for so long. We tried to do the best of dinner since we were all together but still not cool. We waited for over 30 minutes to get served and nothing, we should have leave but after waiting and being mistreated for so long everything else was closed! Food was good but we couldn’t tell for sure since by the time it came in we were famished! I did told our waiters about the service and she told the many that didn’t care at all I think they even do it on purpose so we color people don’t come back, unless is to work there, since most of the staff is from minorities. If you are not Caucasian please save the trip...

We just came down for the weekend on an impromptu RV trip from Houston. Holy smokes y'all! This restaurant and the view at this place is wicked bad a$$! Shay was our waitress and was an absolute pleasure to dine with. Such a great waitress, energetic person and pleasure to chat with for a bit. We will see you at breakfast tomorrow!!!! (Updated... Next day... 🤣. We went back for dinner Saturday night and I had the Cajun pasta with the Gulf Coast shrimp upgrade option for only $2 more! I am so glad I chose shrimp. I thought it might only have a couple shrimp but it was loaded and they were jumbos for sure. Perfectly cooked and the cream sauce was absolutely outstanding. I also thought I would be leaving the meal hungry but I wanted for nothing I assure you. We had to take dessert to go instead of eating it there. I do wish it would have come with a piece of garlic toast though as a filler and to add a little bit of crunch.

Update: Visited a year later than our first visit below. They had no to-go half gallon or gallon alcohol containers so we couldn't order that. The service was good for the most part, food was good. Docking 1 star for no to-go beverage containers. New and clean establishment. There was a golf cart waiting when we pulled up in the parking lot to drive us to the restaurant. Chicken wings, pretzels, Margherita pizza and pepperoni pizza were all good. Key lime pie and drinks were good as well. We dined at 3:30 pm on a Thursday. There weren't too many customers since it's off season. The customer service was excellent. This place is a Wonderland. I bet it's packed in the spring and summer.

Fantastic dining at Fins! They were able to accommodate our large group. Our reservation was perfect, and they were even able to move us inside when they determined the mosquitos were too much. Mama T is an excellent server. Everything was timely and arrived perfect. We had the loaded chips and seafood platter. Our kids had the fish and chips and pretzel. Everyone loved the food. The only thing I world try differently is another drink. The regular margarita was a little sweet but still very good. FYI, the parking is a bit of a distance from the restaurant but they run golf carts for patrons. Excellent service all around!
