Hanna's Corner — Restaurant in Garden City

No more Hannah's Corner for me!

Just placed our orders, took one sip of tea and we left (and had to pay $5.46 for the tea) no food.

My wife bariatric surgery in November. I have a stomach that holds about 8 ounces of food. So I am always ordering from the kids menu. It is useless for me to order a plate with tons of food that I'm not going to eat.

I felt totally embarrassed that we had TWO waitresses come back to our table and tell her that she had to switch her order. They even came back with a menu, finger pointed to the 12 and under menu and suggested a larger meal for her. She explained her surgery, until they cut her off and said, the owner said she couldn't have what she ordered.

She again tried to explain my situation and they again said, the kids menu is for kids.

To the owner, you have no heart nor care about bending the rules for those who need it. I've been coming there since I moved here to Garden City. Not any more. I pray for you that you never have to ask for something to be changed. I pray they tell you NO and point out the reason many times to you in front of many people. I pray that everyone stares at you as you try to explain yourself and hopefully it's not a medical situation (HIPPA) that you have to explain in front of everyone.

🤢🤮 DISGUSTING!! DON'T STOP HERE!!! They say their menu is all day, but don't order anything with mashed potatoes or a salad before 11:00, because they won't serve it to you - but they'll charge you the full price after deleting half the items. And don't advertise Texas Toast and give me generic thin white bread 😡 RANCID bacon! Water tastes like sewage, and it's not exactly clean in this restaurant. Very disappointing! Drove out of our way because the ratings looked good, but won't be back! And when they ask how everything was and you're honest, they tell you that you should have sent it back and ordered something else - so your disgusting food is my fault? I should find a lower level of disgusting on the menu! Thanks, but no. We had to go to a gas station and buy a soda because not even your drinks are palatable! WORST EVER ON EVERY LEVEL!!!! VOMIT INDUCING IN FOOD...

Great service, Great food, an American Classic. Move over IHOP this is the place for pancakes. They have all you can buy pancakes. Biscuits and Gravy? Only in the morning so get it hot. Late sleeper, no problem they serve the rest of their breakfast ALL DAY LONG. Not a breakfast person, easy, get them Burgers hot N juicy, get some fries on the side . Well shoot Daniel I'm hungry for some country cooking. I say, give them a call, ask for their specials and get two of each, Im preaching Smothered Pork chops, Pan Fried Chicken, Country Fried Steak and some mashed potatoes. Oh man Dan I'm stuffed, well sorry dood, you haven't had a cup of coffee and some God dang home made desserts, I'm talking Cherry pie, coconut cream pie, German chocolate cake, now pay your tab tip your waitress and pick up smoking, cause you'll need a cigarette after this satisfying moment...
