This place is amazing! I drop by every week or two for coffee and a bit to eat.
Their ban cuon is the best this side of Vietnam. Very thin sheets and that's the secret, as to how they do that.... Skills!
Price is amazing! I always pick up a cha chien (fried pork roll) or gio (steam pork loaf in banana leaves) for later, the flavoring is right on the money.
Their egg rolls are also amazing (how many times have I used amazing? 😂) Their egg rolls are the best, except for mine.

There are too many haters leaving comments! @Bianca Jennings you’ve left 5 reviews on this site, all are 1 star reviews and in all you state that the establishment has rats. Have you ever stopped to think that the rats are just following their queen? Such a hateful person you are :(
There are a few people who complain about the food that’s not Banh Cuon. People....eat the food that’s in their name! Eat the Banh Cuon! I’ve been coming here for years and have never had anything other than the Banh Cuon! I’d rather that they make amazing Banh Cuon and mediocre other foods than mediocre everything... there are a lot of Banh Cuon places locally, and once they start selling too many other foods, their Banh Cuon suffers.
There are a few people who complain that it’s too crowded and that they’re never coming back. Good riddance! They’re crowded because the locals love this place. I’ve only eaten here twice, the rest of the time I’ve...
Read moreBánh Cuốn Lưu Luyến is truly a gem for lovers of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. It’s a small, unassuming spot, but the food speaks volumes about the care and quality they put into their dishes. Their bánh cuốn (steamed rice rolls) is phenomenal—the rice sheets are thin, soft, and perfectly textured. My personal favorite is the Bánh Cuốn Thịt Nướng, which features lemongrass grilled pork paired with fresh veggies and their signature fish sauce. Speaking of the fish sauce, it’s exceptional and complements every bite beautifully. The portions are generous and reasonably priced (around $12 per dish), and everything feels fresh and well-prepared. Other standouts include the mung bean cakes, which are moist and flavorful (a pleasant surprise for me since I don’t usually enjoy mung bean cakes). The bánh bèo is also a winner, with a generous topping of mung bean. The food court-style seating and small parking lot might be a slight drawback, but the friendly service and amazing food make up for it. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Vietnamese food or just curious to try bánh cuốn, this place is worth visiting. Highly recommend supporting this small business—you...

Heard so many great things about this place but it didn't meet expectations. Service seemed really slow and the banh cuon didn't taste that great to me. They placed everything on top of the flattened banh cuon so you kind of have to do some digging to get to all of them so you can eat. Also found it odd that cha gio and tofu were placed with the banh cuon. Interesting combination but not really my style. They also seemed to serve only one variety of nuoc mam (nuoc mam with chili).
I came back May 25, 2019, and was much more impressed. Although the place was extremely packed, the service was a lot better and the food was also pretty good as well. The girl who waited tables was super sweet and speaks fluently in English and Vietnamese - so if you're not Vietnamese or a Vietnamese who doesn't speak English, talk to her because she's really great. I'm still a little thrown off that there's no fried shrimp but, like I said, the quality of the food tasted a lot better today. It also seemed they earned enough money to remodel so it looks a lot nicer now. The place is still pretty small, so do get...
