I go back to Phuong restaurant after 4 months it's remodelled. It looks nicer, cleaner and warmer. It has more dishes, new bowls, new tables & chairs and decorating. I entered the restaurant and recognized it's crowded with more customers than before. I had a very delicious " hα»§ tΓu khΓ΄ ", a kind of noodle with separate soup. I like the way they treat customers with addition chilly, onion, sprout, vegetables with no charges. Unlike some another restaurants charge 50 cents to 1.50 dollard for add-on sprout, chilly, etc... He took his time explaining the reasons behind his recommendations. It's a rare experience among the Vietnamese restaurants. Perhaps it was a slow day for them, not packed but a constant flow. Β Β Β Read moreThis used to be on my rotation of Vietnamese restaurants to visit. However, my recent visit was disappointing. The popular "my Hai Tho" kho noodles with banh dai was lacking. The sauce was watery and the pickled peppers were not pickled long enough. I am understanding of the pandemic difficulties but I'm hoping that things will get back too "normal", under the circumstances. On the bright side, the same "uncle" was still there with his friendliness serving his customers. Hope my next visit...
