Staying nearby, I dropped in for dinner because it over looks lake topaz. The restaurant sits in the back of the casino, upon check in I immediately noticed the un friendly staff. I was alone and sat by the entrance in a very large table for about 10 people. I asked the young lady about one of the three open booths by the windows. She tossed the menu on the table and told me to move myself after they were cleaned while mumbling, uh marines..... I'm not sure what that meant. I am not a marine.
Meal: daily special of meatloaf---mediocore at best.
After I got the check check "Natalie" the cashier was very snippy and took the check and credit card out of my hand, very appropriate. I called her out on it, and she rudely told me that patience is a virtue (I was the only one there and not in a hurry).
Extremely poor service and mediocore food. I would just keep driving to the next town. And apparently, there is a bias...
Read moreI wished the food looked as good as the menu. Lakeview Cafe is at about the level of a Dennys with a million dollar view. We had a dinner and a lunch there. Staff is friendly and fast.
Plus: The View, Clam Chowder, Perfectly cooked fries, Pork Chops.
Minus: The fish in the 'Fish and Chips' was a refugee from Long John Silver, lost interest in the Chicken Fried Steak 2/3'rds of the way through. I tasted my wife's spicy shrimp. It was aged.
