My daughter, Granddaughter and I stopped in to eat after we drove from Evart to take a walk on Lake's rails to trails. The server was friendly enough but I couldn't believe the prices on the menu. My Granddaughter is 16 months old and I was looking for some healthy sides to order for her like cottage cheese and apple sauce. There was none so I had to order her a kids meal. Which was fine but it was $10 for a couple chicken nuggets and some potato smiles. They came scorching hot on the inside so we had to break everything apart and wait to long to feed the starving 16 month old. Our bill came to $60 and some change. On the receipt I wrote a 0 with a line through it for no tip and wrote the $60 and some change in on the total line. The next day I was looking at my online banking and they had charged me a extra $15 on my bill.... How do you mistake $60 for $75? I wonder how many people they have done this too, that didn't notice. That is stealing... So I called and gave them all the information on my receipt and they said they would credit the $15 back to my card in 24 to 48 hours. Not one single I'm sorry this happened, or can we make it right by comping your meal or even a coupon to come back and visit them... It has now been 4 business days and the $15 is still not back in my account. I will be calling back to make sure I...
Read moreThis was our first time here and we were looking forward to finding a good restaurant/grill we could enjoy. I certainly want to support local businesses.
Server was very friendly and responsive. I liked the atmosphere. The dishes and serving plates and such were nice quality.
I got sticker shock when I saw the prices. For $9.45 we got six mozzarella sticks. Okay. The server asked if we wanted ranch, marinara, or both. Sure, we would like both. We got the bill and were charged $1.50 for two small containers of sauce. Have you ever been to a restaurant that charges for sauce for your mozzarella sticks. If you add in tax and tip, six mozzarella sticks cost $12.50. Interesting!
The beer comes in 12 ounce glasses. It has been over 10 years since I drank a beer in a glass that was not a pint. That is fine, but the beer prices were on par with at least a pint. So, I was disappointed in the beer prices.
Just trying to provide some feedback. Unless quantity of food increases and prices become more reasonable, I don’t see myself going back. Maybe a lack of competition leaves the customers with no other options? I can’t express how disappointed we are. We were really hoping we had found our...
Read moreThe bartender/server alex was verry rude to me and hit on my husband all night. She didnt care enough to remember what my order was due to fawning over him the whole visit. The other servers were wonderful but I wont be returning due to bad service, she was short and snide with me shes lucky she got any tip at all. They have no music playing and seemed a little uppity for normal people. Their a little pricey for my taste. I wouldnt recomend sitting in the skinny blond named alexes section and i wont be returning was way better when it was big als. Wouldnt be as bad if they had better wait staff and brought some life into the place, their in a small town not mount pleasant make it fun not boring with...
