Placed a takeout order in the restaurant. Got home and was completely the wrong order. Called for a refund and the supervisor was giving me the runaround, apparently the supervisor can't give a refund without the owners approval. Update: Called again the next day and this time spoke with the manager. He insisted that I drive 30 minutes back to the restaurant and bring back the incorrect order. Which is now a day old food that has been sitting in my house. He refused to give me a refund and said only the owner can help. What's troubling to me is being told by the manager to return food that they should just be throwing away, why is the manager demanding that I bring back food? You planning on throwing it into someone else's to go box? Because if so that's against health code. Update 2: I had the misfortune of finally speaking with the owner. She refused to give a refund because I didn't drive out of my way to deliver back to the restaurant the order that THEY messed up. One of the reasons why she decided that she wouldn't give a refund is because the "order you received is more value than what you ordered." You're trying to tell me the 6 tacos I received were the same value or greater than the 15 tamales I ordered plus sides? If you're reading this and think I'm being unreasonable please note I got home and found out my wife has covid, would you want me bringing back food from our COVID infected house to the restaurant your about to eat in? Because according to the owner that's the only way I could...
Read moreI've been in town for about a year and this place had been recommended to me by every generation, every ethnicity. Taqueria TC Latino makes delicious, fresh and quality food that is served quickly by staff that is kind, present and engaging. My husband and I split a quesadilla, shared three tacos and each got a tamale [had to try as much as possible]. Including a Jarritos drink, we paid just over $20.
The tacos were simple - meat, onion, cilantro on two corn tortillas. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the corn tortillas were fresh, warm and bendable [instead of falling apart]. There were three sauces for us to try - one salsa verde, another green creamy one with I'm guessing avocado and serrano and another red sauce that was spicy but I have NO idea what's in it. All delicious and a great accompaniment. The quesadilla was a hearty portion - chicken and cheese on a large tortilla folded in half, served with a side of chopped lettuce, tomato, avocado, sour cream and cotija cheese. The tamales we tried were chicken and jalapeno+cheese. The vegetarian one was our favorite - a perfect blend of moist ingredients and a little kick from the roasted jalapeno.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. DON'T WAIT - GO NOW. We will certainly be...
Read moreThis place is incompetent. And the staff wasn't wearing masks as they hovered over the food in the back. When you get on Google to find the number there is an option to message them on messenger if they don't answer the phone after 7 tries. Which we did. They gave us a different number to try and we called and got our order placed. Unfortunately, they didn't tell us what store they were. We went to the only place we knew existed and they had no idea who or why we were there. After explaining how we ordered they said it was the other store 15 minutes away. All we wanted was tamales so we asked the place we were standing in if they had any available and we could cancel the original order. They called the other place and explained they couldn't give us any because the other store was already cooking the ones we ordered. Which was bs because we asked them not to cook them. We left and decided between the confusion, the distance to the other place and the lack of masks and gloves weren't worth it. Won't be ordering from either place again. Too much trouble just to end up with cold...
