Fire Station Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Garfield

Super disappointing the last 2 times I visited.....the first time, service was OK but food was awful. The second time, service seemed to be OK until server didn't pick up our order from the kitchen......waited almost an hour for a pizza that had obviously been sitting under the warmer for quite some time while the people next to us who came in 20 minutes later got a nice hot pizza. Servers response "it's not my fault, I didn't cook it" did NOT sit well with us as customers! IF she would have picked it up in a timely fashion, there would not have been a problem. I asked to speak to a manager, she said the owner was present.......but then would not return to our table or acknowledge us again so were unable to do this. I can't even give it one star, went in 8 months ago there were 5 people sitting at a round table two behind the bar and a server. The server brought them minuis and took there drink orders went to the bar and got the drinks and brought them to there table and took there food orders and picked up the minues and walked past our table and put in the order then sat on a bar stool and talked Intel the food order was ready after the cook rang the bell 3 different times for her he came out to the bar and told her she then went over to the table and ask if thay would like another drink went got drinks then came back and got there food. The waitress was very rude, didn’t seem like she wanted anyone in there. They were out of multiple things in the menu. We orders some fries and the cheese that came with us was microwaved you couldn’t even get to the cheese the top was so hard. We got our drinks refilled after 20 minutes and there was nobody in the place. Our actual food was not good and we tried to pay but the waitress just walked out and smoked for about 10-20 minutes, never gave us our bill we had to go up to her to get it. i’m not sure what happened to this place but it used to be amazing. wish it would go...
