Mucho Taco Taqueria — Restaurant in Garland

In a word: DELICIOUS!

My family visited around 1:00 on Saturday afternoon, April 2, 2022. We ordered chicken nachos, chicken flautas, beef tacos, and a monster burrito. This isn't mass-produced fast food, thankfully.. Since all of the plates are carefully prepared to order, there is, understandably, a wait. However, the gracious owners provide guests with a complimentary cup of chicken noodle soup as an appetizer while the tortillas soften and the steak sizzles on the grill. Aguas frescas are available and delicious. Try the mango water!

Everything was just scrumptious! All items except nachos were accompanied with Mexican rice and refried beans. The accompanying sauces ranged from mild to spicy, and the salads of cucumber, radish, avocado, lettuce, and tomato were cool and refreshing. This is now my family's local stop for great Mexican food, and we're excited about our next trip!

We ordered take out, but there is seating for perhaps 16 guests inside the store. At 1:00 on a Saturday afternoon, the taqueria had a steady stream of guests arriving hungry and leaving completely satisfied. My husband was able to bring home one of my favorite cravings during the weekend. He ordered a Torta de Asada with seasoned fries and 6 tacos (2 Pastor, 2 Chicharron, and 2 barbacoa) The bread that makes the torta was perfect and sweet. It’s packed with great flavor and it was HUGE! Exactly how it’s suppose to be made.

The tacos bring something to the table, unfortunately they didn’t make it to the table. I cleared the plate completely. I was surprised to find out that the chicharron has bits of pork with the pork skin. It has the right amount of salty yet savory. The barbacoa was soft and melts perfectly into your mouth. Last but certainly not least the Pastor was hands down a 10/10 perfection! Seasoned to a T with the sweet pineapple chunks to really tie it together.

Amazing flavor on all the food, The guys there are awesome, me and the kids walked in after they closed and they still made us our food!! Class acts, very polite and amazing service. As far as the tacos go they’re really good but their Sandwich game is on another level, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich is one of the best I have tried and the Texas burger is amazing with the egg and avocado bacon literally just had one 5 minutes ago. Deffinantly my go to place for takeout food, very clean and family oriented place, love it!! Anyone talking about rats or not clean you must have seen your cousin there and felt some sort of way 🤣😂 Keep up the good work guys!! I’ll be back...
