We visited on 2/15/2020 around 5:45Pm There was a small line in the drive thru with a total of 2-3 cars and two small groups including my family that had 4 people.
I am commenting on the situation at this particular establishment. My family and I were in town after enjoying a day in Clear Lake and we’re headed home. We had wanted something to eat and decided to stop for a bite. Sadly it seemed like this night was the wrong night stop. I know nights can be slow and scheduling can be difficult with a lack of staff. We ordered our food and it took about 15-20 minutes for our food to come out. We weren’t in a huge rush, but our fries were cold, sandwiches were charred and grease ridden and my order in particular, a #14 on their menu, seemed to have been grabbed from the very bottom of the freezer bag. Small and tiny little chicken tenders were given, seeming to be unapologetic about doing so. They at least said sorry for a slow kitchen. Not only that, but seemed charred and very small for the price we paid. For almost a 40$ meal it seemed ridiculous to have paid that much for such a meal.
During that time we also had the liberty of seeing the true colors of the supervisor who was working. A woman was displeased because her order of fries had taken a long time, let alone being limp and cold by the time she had gotten them. She openly said that was displeased about it and the supervisor had retorted in a manner that was rude and unprofessional. This woman in particular said that she had been coming to the same establishment for about 11 years and had never had an issue with the service.
Seeing the attitudes of the two gentlemen working this night, I’m very displeased and my family and I will no longer consider this establishment to eat at again.

She was snarky and snippy the entire order, had I not had another almost hour drive and hungry kids, I would've said nevermind I'll go spend my money elsewhere. Totally made us feel unwelcome and as if we were bothering them by ordering food at 6:51pm, when it says they are open until 10pm. Had she not been Completely rude the ENTIRE time, I would've let it be and went on with my night, HOWEVER, she continued to be and when I asked her when the manager would be in, she took her time in coming up with a lie, then slammed the window shut in my face while I was still trying to civilly speak to her while collecting our order. Read moreI understand that things are really hard around these times, but I had the worst experience ever... the drive through took forever, considering it’s a fast food place. Also, they forgot to get me my breakfast potatoes. I called right away asking if I can get a refund or get my potatoes. The worker on the phone said they can bring out my potatoes for me, as I said I was in the parking lot. I waited for a half an hour!!! It was super hot outside, and my baby son was starting to cry a lot from being bored and hot. I had to drive home and get him fed, without my potatoes. What a waste of time and money! I wouldn’t recommend this to be a good place to eat unless someone really wants Hardee’s... just drive a little farther to the one in Mason to get to...
