El Jimador Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Garnett

Third time'd visited over last 30 months or so. Nothing has changed. And that's a good thing. Food, Quality, Menu, Wait Staff,atmosphere all the same and all good. The menu is large and if you can't find what you want ask. They would try to make it for you. Remember this is a Mexican Restaurant, you ain't gettin biscuits and gravy. Pretty sure other place in Garnett to get you some of that. This is a full service restaurant with a large area divided into several smaller open dining rooms. Hostess and Wait staff are quick and attentive. Chips and salsa taste fresh. All the normal Mexican dishes are here plus several that highlight "Green Sauce" So delicious if prepared right. So bad if done wrong. I'm a fan of El Jimador's. Prices see reasonable for the quantity and quality. I had the Enchilada Verde dinner with Rice, Avocado, Tomato and extra Verde, yum. Endless chips, salsa and a soda. About $11 with tax. I'm going back to Garnett for more of this. That's 30 miles...

Dinners beware, my wife and I ate lunch there and I accidentally left my money clip on the table after paying, we went to a green house as our next stop and I realized I had left my money clip at the restaurant, I called and the lady running the front says hold on and she came back within about 20 seconds and say there is nothing here you might call back in a few hours and check again, didn’t ask me my name phone number or anything, I decided I would drive back so I did and she had left for the day, was told by the guy at the the front why he was laughing I might add not my problem man…. I did file a police report as that was the only place I had been all day and I had tore my vechical and house apart with no luck of finding it… I LOST 260.00 dollars in cash 3credit cards driver’s license Medicare card, so card, insurance card plus other items while they LAUGHED AND SAID NOT MY PROBLEM MAN , and then amazingly they could only...

We haven't went in the restaurant for awhile but we took a kid out for his birthday. 2 staff members on the floor and our waitress was not happy the whole time (kind of rude actually). It took forever for us to get chips and salsa and the other waiter brought us them. We ordered queso and margaritas first thing. The large frozen margaritas that we paid almost $12 for had hardly any alcohol in the at all and were not good at all! We finally got our drinks and she took our order for our food...then we had to ask for our queso AGAIN...and another waiter brought it out for us. We kept mentioning It was our kids birthday and NOTHING! I've never had this bad of service there! Hope you get it fixed Mario, or you will lose more...
