Dollar General — Local services in Garnett

Garnett dollar general is the best. I have been in a lot traveling. Most of the stores are just as cluttered but the staff is rude or acting like they are bored to death at other stores. In Garnett they go out of their way no matter how busy they are to find what you need or get what you need from the top shelves. They work their butts off with litle thanks when they could be acting like the employees at other dollar generals. Before you judge ask for a tour. They will be happy to show you why the aisles are so crowded and why they can only have one cashier most of the day. You got a choice. More clutter because they stand around all day checking you out and nothing on the shelve at all to buy because They are standing around checking you out. They are battling an uphill battle for you at low wages and fighting to get Garnett a new store for the town and...

DietGood prices, friendly staff and great clearance deals. The only issues are the usual clutter and disorganization (pretty much unavoidable at a place like this where they're understaffed), and a lack of shelf space leaving their product selection severely limited. I always joke that they must hate diabetics, because they don't carry many options for diet soda.

I'd give them an instant score boost if I could buy my Diet Sunkist here when I get my girlfriend's Coke Zero. Instead I have to go down the street to Country Mart for that. This store is always super busy so finding a parking spot can be a problem. The store is very dishelved with ever aisle packed with merchandise that is waiting to be put out on display. Most of the clothes had fallen off of the hangers so they are dirty from people just walking on them. Lots of packages have either been tampered with or tore up. When going to the checkout be prepared to wait an eternity to check out. There are a few registers but usually only checker. Really I only go to this store when I absolutely have to as it's the only store in Garnett. I will drive 30 miles away to go to a store that runs as it should.
