Absolutely by far , the freshest and best Chinese food in eastern NC. Best prices for your hard earned dollar. If you don't want quality or friendly staff avoid this place , I love it...hands down the best...I could eat here every day. If your within an hour away it's well worth the drive. I live almost in Elenboro and this place is 20 miles away and for the low prices and extreme amounts of food, its going to be the best deal you've made all week. Now for the record, absolutely by far the nicest individuals I've ever met. Today I walked in , not have been here in well over six months since the virus began. Every single one of them smiled and exclaimed. Hello Russ.....that's the difference. If you think everywhere you could go , its just that one thing or reason that keeps you away. Not here 10 out of 10 stars. Also they've constructed a plexiglass partition separating the kitchen from the rest of the place. There is no way to cross contaminate. Very practical applications have been put in place and highly practiced with you and your families safety in mind. But don't just take my word for it. This place is great, been coming here for years and unless this place closes, I don't eat Chinese food from anywhere else. The only problem I've ever had here is due to a bit of a language barrier. But it could be partly due to my "selective hearing" my wife says I have, but it also could be that I'm not here enough these days to get a hang of the "broken english". You know what I mean, it's like baby talk, you may know what your little one is saying because you're used to their speech. I remember my wife used to hear me on the phone with Latinos from work, and she'd be like,,, "How on earth do you know what they're saying?" I'd tell her it's like baby talk, you get used to what they're trying to communicate. Anyways, there used to be a woman at the front counter, who I got used to talking to, I think she was the "mother" of the group that runs the place. I have been going to this restaurant for over 5 years now. I will say that the food is great. I have no issues there at all. They give you tons of food. Way more than most people will eat. A very good place to split a plate. The prices are great also. My problem is the setting area is just plain dirty and nasty. The entire walls need to be stripped down and painted. The floor needs to be properly cleaned. Caked on dust everywhere. What few wall decor they have are dirty. When I do go now I take out cause I cannot stand to see how nasty the place is.
