Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Gastonia

Obviously it's pouring rain, so we pulled in after leaving the Dr office. Husband went in to order a pizza to take home. As you see I'm in the car, he's inside "trying to get pizza". It's already been about 35 minutes. Then I look over to see a Pizza Delivery guy with several pizza's getting in his car. I know they hav'ta get them to the people who call in but "COME ON" why can't you Toss up a pizza for the people who came to you..!!!

{2/7/20: 7.00pm} Thank you Sir for your response, it shows that you care and no this was my first trip to your store (on New Hope Rd). In response, no we did not call in the order, we just stop by on our way home. But we were not the only one, another person (who was there when we pulled up) got their pizza about 10 mins before us, so I assume they were probably waiting a while as well. I noticed several people go in to pick-up a pizza, plus my husband said there were at least 14 pizzas stacked on the counter and the last 10 minutes, he would stand up every time one would come out of the oven. Just saying, it was crazy to see all the pizzas that were sitting there getting cold, don't you think? .I added 2 more stars, because the store was clean & the employees were nice. Also the pizza was good, but was not hot, so when I noticed that, we ate it before going home, so it wouldn't be colder, so that was surprising. However, we do enjoy...

I ordered pizza for my son and his friends at around 6:33pm. Estimated delivery time was 7:15pm, about 45 minutes after I ordered, no big deal. The Tracker showed my order was being quality checked at 6:54pm. I called at 7:35 because the pizza would have been getting cold after sitting there for almost 40 minutes, she said they were busy and it would go out next.

At 8:16pm, 40 MORE minutes later, I called again to cancel the order and another girl said the driver was leaving right now. Fifteen minutes later the driver delivered... three pepperoni pizzas and a sandwich... Which is TOTALLY NOT what I ordered. They were thin crust, dry, awful!

Two hours later, four hungry teenagers, and absolutely not what I ordered. I called the restaurant (the third time having to call them now) to let them know, they said they would get the pizzas remade and send them out, It was almost 10:00 pm when it arrived, over another hour later, what the heck? Almost 3.5 HOURS to get pizza delivered. Absolutely asinine.

This location definitely needs better management, more staff, more training, more something (anything!!!) to make them get things right or they need to stop taking online orders when they get more orders than they can reasonably handle. This is obviously a franchise business as dominos owned by Bain capital WOULD HAVE NEVER let ANY of this happen... There is so much but I will shorten.. Went to this dominos waited 40 mins for a pizza that the screen showed I only had 8 mins left till pick up(Ordered my pizza at 8:13 walked out the building at 8:42). Got into a whole thing WITH THE MANAGER BRITTANY.. When I finally received my pizza Brittany was on the phone with a customer AND DROPPED THE PHONE SO HER AND ANOTHER CHICK (Heavyset younger black chick with braids) COULD COME AT ME LIKE THEY WERE GOING TO FIGHT ME!!!! AND THEN GOT MY PIZZA WRONG. Called cooperate talked to a representitive got no follow up so called back two days later and spoke with a supervisor with also NO follow up. YOU WILL NOT CATCH ME DEAD ORDERING PIZZA FROM THIS BUSINESS FOR THIS CHICK TO SPIT IN MY PIZZA ALL BECAUSE CORPORATE DID NOT HANDLE THIS SITUATION APPROPRIATELY.Also ive noticed that the owner only responds to 5 star reviews but I would like to point out that the very manager I'm speaking about has atleast 5 terrible reviews IN THE LAST DAMN MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS..... *Updated...
