Happy Days — Restaurant in Gastonia

Been about a month ago now that we went there for a few drinks but just now getting around to this. With Shelly on Sunday evening, The service was great. We came back on a Saturday night and it was a completely different experience. Basically a mixed crowd biker bar with no security or door person checking for weapons, memberships or ID for this to be a private club. Found out they let a person back in that had been banned for sexual assault on multiple women, staff and patrons including my wife, which overall had me questioning the safety of the place. According to the owner the entire collection of matters was corrected but at what expense I ask….The only reason I didn’t give it one star across the board is because we did have a decent time until I found out about that after the fact. Never in my life have I ever experience racism in my life . The bartender was rude as hell and ignorant . And makes it even worse one of he people that were there work somewhere else laughing about the situation . I moved to Gastonia thinking people in Gastonia would be humble people . Nope rude as hell and ignorant . My boyfriend and I were just asked to leave Happy Days by the owner because I wear a mask as a personal preference and she doesn’t like that. I don’t ask anyone else to wear a mask, and I don’t judge them for not doing so.

I work in healthcare, have been through cancer, and getting sick can be pretty serious for me. It wasn’t the first time we had been there and I have worn my mask every time.
