Oh my gosh my sister and I came here for our birthdays with my dad & my little niece, my b-day is on 3/17 (St. Patrick's Day) and her's is the very next day. We were happy we didn't have to wait or anything considering it was Saint Patrick's Day. I instantly fell in love with the cozy atmosphere. I mean all of my favorite Italian restaurants are usually the hidden gems, the quaint cozy ones that have authentic Italian recipes from their Nonna's. I got the lasagna, my sister got the spaghetti, my dad got fettuccine alfredo, & my niece got the kids cheese pizza. Well when I say everything was absolutely amazing I mean just that. The portions are absolutely huge so you really get like two or three meals for the price of one. I think their prices are really good so if anybody wants to complain about pricing just consider how much food you get. My lasagna was fantastic and that's saying a lot coming from me. I'm pretty picky when it comes to lasagna because I'm particular about the marinara sauce & the cheese. I want the good quality cheese and a robust but balanced tangy marinara sauce and baby you best believe that they delivered because both the cheese & the sauce were absolutely incredible. I couldn't eat but a few bites of it at the time though because after eating a whole salad and bread and taking bites of my sister and my dad's food I was stuffed. However when I got home later that night even though I was still kind of full I had to have more of that lasagna because it was amazing. My niece ate her whole cheese pizza and she's pretty picky lately so she she normally just picks at her food but she devoured it. Also I'm not a big sweets person so when it comes to desserts there's only certain ones that I really like, I don't like anything too overpowering or too rich. I'm drawn to more of the vanilla flavored desserts like creme brulee, tiramisu, cannolis, & pastries and pretty much anything with cheese, custard, or whipped cream. Well on the night we were there I was too full for dessert but they all looked so good so I decided to order one to go, I got the pistachio ricotta cream cake. I was trying to be polite by asking for a small slice but I wish I would have ask for a much bigger slice because that was absolutely fantastic and I've been craving it ever since. Sadly I don't think it's on the every day menu because I looked for it online so I think that was just a specialty item but my God that was delicious. I am definitely going to go back soon and next time I'm going to get that deep dish pizza because I've seen pictures of it and heard great things about it and it looks divine. I mean even the sweet tea was how I like it, sweet but not syrupy sweet like they are at some restaurants. Honestly there's only one thing I wish they had, and that's a good tangy homemade vinaigrette dressing. They had a nice garlicky dressing which may have been their house dressing and a nice balsamic vinaigrette and they also had the classic salad dressings. However I've just been looking for a good tangy homemade (maybe red wine) vinaigrette since one of my favorite Italian restaurants closed down a couple of years ago. I just like more of a tart salad dressing though so that's just a personal preference but when it's done right I could actually drink it. This place has easily moved to the top of my favorite local Italian restaurants and I highly recommend them. No doubt about it. Thanks for an amazing experience Reginella's, I...
Read moreI ordered lunch to be delivered for my husband to his place of employment as he couldn't leave to pick lunch up. Reginella Italian Pizza's website clearly directs you to the app "slice" to order delivery. I ordered and paid online. Reginella uses the app "Slice" then Slice uses door dash... The order was picked up but never delivered. I was on the phone with all 3 companies and no one could tell me where my husbands food order was. Two hours later Slice canceled my order. I called Reginella a total of 3 times. I spoke to the owner and another person... Each time the main point they wanted to get a cross was that there was nothing they could do... Which could be true or maybe they could've done something... I would've paid again for them to deliver some food but the owner said she couldn't deliver. My point is by having the option to order via Slice on their website they're recommending, endorsing.... whatever you'd like to call it. Bottom line they have responsibility here too. My husband is diabetic and could've gone into hypoglycemic shock. He hadn't had anything to eat. Yes not responsible... Not doing as he should have... That's why I wanted to help the situation. Reginella Italian Pizza was absolutely not helpful and very dismissive to my pleas for assistance.
As a business you contract with slice to deliver your product to your customer. I started at your website the icon says " order now" then that took me to the " slice" website I figured if the business says use this service for delivery then it must be reputable. You took no responsibility or made any effort to correct the situation. Saying "I'm sorry I have no control"...
Read moreThis was.my first time at this restaurant, we were quickly greeted by a hostess and we were seated quickly!! I have been dying to try their Pizza for the longest time and that was my tables intentions until we were told they don't serve no beer / wine at all so that changed our plans right off the top we happen to have gotten there right before their lunch specials were ending so we just had their lunch special options. Wanted to have a nice big pizza and a pitcher of beer for the three of us anyways we ended up with the half sub special two slices of pizza special and penne ala vodka with a really nice looking salad(sold separately) the steak sub looked really good and I did get a thumbs up on that, I did sample the penne pasta and I thought that was really good,, and lastly the pizza I wanted to try so badly was a let down it came out not cold but barely warm, and the only flavors that I got out of it was a bit doughy and salt in all fairness slices are hard to order the pizza' is made earlier and heated as needed. That's my opinion!! they have an extensive menu they have traditional NY style pizza, Sicilian and Chicago style I'd like to give them a second chance to get a fresh pie out of the oven made specifically for my table. They have the typical Italian specialty pastas which I'd like to try but I just can't get past that no BEER issue to give them a second chance.( I love my beer and pizza) The service was excellent and it is a nice restaurant on the inside, it's...
