This was my first time trying Food N Stuff (and my first time in Gaylord for that matter). I came in alone as my husband was teaching a class. The staff was kind and helpful. I had every intention of eating in, however staff never asked if I wanted my food to go. I was also never offered a drink or asked if I wanted anything else, which I thought was odd. I was asked to have a seat and they would bring my food out. I was disappointed to see it come out in a to-go bag. The newspaper wrap for the sandwich was a cute touch.

I ordered the half sandwich & bowl of soup combo, Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese & Loaded potato soup. Rarely do I get soup at a restaurant so I thought I would start with that. Let me just say that the soup was absolutely delicious. It was more of a cup than bowl size, but it was perfect. Well seasoned, with fresh bacon, green onion and cheddar cheese as garnishes. There were big chunks of potato and they were perfectly cooked.

Moved on to my sandwich next, and wish I would have started with that instead. I had high hopes for it after the soup, but I was sorely disappointed. Had I not known there was jalapeño, I couldn't have told you. It was smashed, a little mushy (probably because I ate my soup first, and there was no ooey-gooey cheese as one would hope for in a grilled cheese. Actually, a good amount of shredded cheese in the sandwich was not even melted. The bacon was well cooked and flavorful.

Overall, I would try it again as the soup was perfection. Definitely make sure you eat in and ask for it that way. I do feel that $14 was a bit steep, however I do love supporting family businesses as opposed to chain...

Loved this place. Maybe, 7-10 tables, but clean and well kept. Best of all was the varied Menu options, really good food, and terrific service.

Amy and Lori double-tag team each other to answer questions, to make sure you have everything you want and need, and to take your orders, getting it to your table while hot.  The Owner, Jaime, has a creative mind with the food and the restaurant set up.  You three are gems!

Our initial orders were the Pot Roast Patty Melt Panini with Fries and Pickle Spear. I had the Figgy Grilled Cheese Panini (Brie, Fig Jam, Apple Slices on Sourdough Bread. Both were outstanding and filling (leftover takeouts for dinner or breakfast.) My Stuffed Pepper Soup was so good, that I ordered a quart to go for 3 more meals. The only negative about our experience there was when my sister ordered the Beef Teriyaki Power Bowl as her Takeout. They offer it as a choice Beef or Chicken. She was really disappointed at Dinner to discover she received the Chicken version (which was good, but absolutely not what she wanted.)  We did laugh because another Gaylord restaurant did exactly the same thing to her order 2 months earlier on our trip there.

I wish I could have docked the review a partial star because mistakes happen, but that cook was careless. This restaurant closes at 3:00 after lunch, so corrections weren't possible.  Not being diligent on takeout orders can hurt a restaurant's rating.

We loved Food n Stuff enough to keep the full 5-Star rating, despite the one mistake (and shorter hours. We would have come back for Dinner! ) I'm ready to return to try at least 4 other items...

Food n Stuff is a breath of fresh air in a time where many are underperforming and leaving much to be desired! The squeaky clean facility, the bright and modern décor, and the friendly service will have you walking out with no choice but to be impressed. Where do I start with the food?!? The portion sizes are very good for quality food and ingredients. Many places boast of these same features but leave you with not much more on your plate than a snack, not here! The flavors and tastes are on point and you don't feel like a boat anchor at the bottom of Lake Huron 3 hours after you've eaten there. Do yourselves a favor and take the short drive off I-75, skip the big box places, and give this place your money, you can thank me later! P.S. Mobile ordering is there game, so no excuses if you're rolling through of the interstate, you'll still be in the drive thru at...
