Big Brutus Pizza — Restaurant in Genesee Charter Township

The pizza is ok at best. Bleh ingredients, but they top it with an enormous amount of "almost mozzarella", leaving it greasy and the veggies undercooked.

It's located conveniently, but looks more like a run down mechanics shop than it does a pizza place.

Lastly, they say the driver, but despite me living 2 miles away, they refused. Their reasoning? "We don't deliver to Flint." Hey, I get it. Some areas can be sketchy, but the delivery is on the edge of Flint, just like they are located. If I would hazard a guess, I think they were just being lazy (especially considering they shut down the walk-in early, making customers pull up to a regular house window that barely works for drive-thru and which forced people to hang out their car window during a heavy rain in order to get their pizza.)

TLDR: It's cheap pizza for a reason, and looks like and abandoned building in the worst of Flint. Save your money,...

Make sure you tell them TWICE what you want. Literally handed the guy a piece of paper with my order, told me park around front and it’ll be there shortly. Another guy arrives 15 minutes later w/stromboli… I said “and I got cheese bread too”… he goes in, comes out, you didn’t order that too. Showed him the note I gave to the other guy… apparently he “reprimanded him”…. But, went the extra mile and wrote down what I wanted and he just had to copy it to the cook order & couldn’t even do that. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤬 Been coming here & around the corner all my life (37 years)… c’mon now…. You guys are dropping the ball. I was LITERALLY the only one there too…. Can’t even copy a piece of paper...

Saw a lot of positive reviews and a few bad ones and it is the bad ones that validate my reasons for writing this review. When it’s a Michigan law to wear gloves,hair nets,wash ya hands,and to just practice good hygiene at any restaurant or establishment that serves cooked/prepared foods,and how is it that this place just shrugs its shoulders in NONCOMPLIANCE??? Do I just ignore them completely and take my business elsewhere or give them a shot? And I won’t even mention the building that this pizza place operates out of,cuz it should be the new Halloween horror house the way it looks cuz the Texas chainsaw massacre house and kitchen looks WAY better! YOU HAVE...
