I went to Mountain Inn in Mt. Morris last night. Our server took our drink order and brought our drinks. She barely spoke to us. About 20 minutes after that she finally came back and took our order. About 30 minutes after that, my husband asked about our appetizer and she told him the cook had walked out about an hour before, but she was working on it. Half an hour after that she brings them over and drops then without a word, and goes back to get napkins and silverware, tosses them a pile in the middle of the table and says, "I don't have time", and walks away. Then, my friend go to her and asks if they've started our food, because we wanted to leave to go somewhere else, and she said they had. Almost an hour and a half later, our food starts coming out a little at a time. She didn't say anything as she put the food down in front of people, and she continued to make it clear all night that she did not want to be there. She says she will buy a round, and brought drinks to the 3 people that were drinking. ( They were all charged for those drinks that she said she was buying that they did not ask for.) I'm still being the smiling, friendly person that I am at this point. She's barely spoken to us, and was downright snotty when we asked her questions. She forgot my daughter's Mac & cheese, and it took another 15 minutes to get that, then we waited 15 minutes for our check while she sat at a table across the room. About that time we start talking about a tip. Some of us thought she shouldn't get anything. I said we weren't doing that. I've always believed that even the worst service should get something. Then, she brought the bill and Katie asked for a box for the mac & cheese which we had to wait another 10 minutes to get. She brings the bill, and I asked if we could get a discount because it took so long. She gets very snotty and tells me she "doesn't have the authority". I asked to speak to someone who does have the authority, and she gets very snippy and informed me that she broke the rules letting us in and had to make people move away from their table so we could sit down(which we didn't even know, much less ask her to do.) Plus we ate all the food, so no, we don't deserve a discount. I reached for my card and said I would just takes care of it then. She said, "you better!" I don't even know how to explain how rude this woman was the entire 3 hours we were there. This was my final straw. For the first time in my life, I did not tip a server. She started yelling that I'm a fat bitch and chased us out the door, yelling about how my daughter needs to lose weight, that we're all scum, and that my family is not welcome back in the restaurant. Of course we made it clear that we wouldn't be returning anyway.
I went to the other bar in town that is owned by the same people to talk to the owner. He did not want to talk to me and all he said to the server that I spoke to was that he would call over to the Mountain Inn and see what's going on. I have not heard from him, even though I left my number with the server, and we have several mutual friends who tagged him in my Facebook post, or copied the post and...

If you’re looking for the kind of pizza that makes you close your eyes and savor every bite, Jacobson's Mountain Inn is the place to go. From the moment the pizza arrives at your table, you know you’re in for something special. The aroma alone is enough to draw you in—warm, toasty crust with that hint of sweet sauce baked right into the edges.
I’ve never tasted anything like it. The sauce isn’t just on top—it’s actually in the crust itself, and it’s perfectly sweet, almost like a secret ingredient that takes every bite to a new level. The cheese is gooey and just the right amount of stretchy, mingling perfectly with the toppings, while the crust is golden brown with just enough crunch to remind you that you’re eating a masterpiece.
It’s the kind of pizza that makes you slow down and appreciate the moment. You can taste the care they put into every pie, the balance of flavors that somehow hits that sweet spot of comfort and excitement all at once. Each bite is so satisfying that you find yourself wishing you could share it with everyone you know.
Jacobson's Mountain Inn has genuinely created the best pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life, and I don’t say that lightly. I’ll be coming back here until the day they close their doors—though I sincerely hope that never happens. If you haven’t been here yet, you owe it to yourself to experience this pizza. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience that stays with you, like a memory of something...
Read moreTo the response given YOU DID NOT REMAKE MY FOOD!!! You offered to take the food back and give me $10 out of my $32 spent or for you to put toppings on it. I asked you to make it right please and what did you do ......You put a piece of shredded lettuce and squashed tomato and scrapped the black off our burgers. I will never trust to come back to this place.
DO NOT EAT HERE! Waited 30 minutes for 2 cheese burgers with onions rings. When I arrived I waited an additional 20 minutes no biggie. When I got the food this is what it looked like. No toppings either like they usually come with. The owner refused to remake the food nor refund. She said this is the standard. We are regulars & we will never be back. I'll keep repeating this review to keep it at the top. Shame on the owner! Terrible...
