Tacatz Tacos — Restaurant in Geneva Township

We walk in to a place that is empty, not a single customer, it's about 3:30 pm on a Wednesday. Bad sign,then the owner glances over at us from the register and without saying anything turns his head back down to whatever he is doing feigning importance. We are looking at the menu on the wall to the right and we just want to order a couple tacos and see how the quality is before ordering a larger meal. We are both super hungry mind you. Now five minutes have passed and still no acknowledgment from Mr. Importante'. We decide that the guys demeanor isn't very inviting and we are better off going somewhere else. So we leave and go to Jalapeno Grill. NOTE TO RESTAURANTEURS: there are literally hundreds of dining options within a few miles radius, if you dont practice basic etiquette, potential customers will just leave and go across the street , A little positivity and cordiality goes...

The short version: lousy food, dirty tables, no public restroom. The details: Our expectations weren't high, given the stand-up ordering style of the place, but the food couldn't have been worse. The chips, usually an easy win for a taco place, were stale, round discs that were so hard they would cause harm if thrown at someone. They were stingy with the salsa, providing just a tiny cap-sized portion of grocery store green or red salsa. The chicken in the burrito was flavorless, and the wrap was soggy. My advice: Go just a little further west on State Street to Jose Maria's. At least they actually cook their own food, keep the tables clean and let you use...

First I wanna say the service was fast and friendly. The food though was meh at best and kinda gross at worst. I got the eggs and Mexican sausage, the eggs were terribly cooked and had a funny taste to them and the sausage that was mixed in to them had almost no flavor. My girlfriend got a couple burritos that were alright, they were large filling and came toasted which was nice! I imagine that other things on the menu are better than my eggs and the ice cream looked really good but I'm a believer that you should be able to pick any item on the menu and it be good, otherwise why...
