McDonald's — Restaurant in Georgetown

UPDATE: I gotta say, they did a total 180 here. The staff I have interacted with the past few months have been patient, helpful, and kind. They take the time to greet you, and make sure you're happy with your order (both of which the other MCs on Austin Ave does not do). They also get the order right the FIRST time! Again, Austin Ave doesn't do. The only nuance is using the app, as prices tend to change from switching to different locations, and may take a long time to populate when your trying to use the mobile app for your order. But again, staff have been patient when this happens, and are very good about getting the long lines going, even during the lunch and dinner rush. Very pleasantly impressed with their progress and service.

This location definitely took the title of worst McDonalds in Georgwtown. No stars would have been more appropriate. From the incompetence ( asking if we were using a coupon on the mobile app, which we were, then saying they weren't accepting the mobile because of "networking issues, and saying the pumpkin pies were seasonal and stopped in October, when we purchased a few from Pflugerville a couple days before visiting this location, and missing items in our order), to their inability to provide decent customer service (when asked for any other pies, staff member was assuming we were asking for them for free, and said he had to ask his manager, and providing nothing to ease the situation that was bexoming increasing stressful for our children, due to their inability to provide products or good service). Purchasing even a fountain drink from this location in the future would be a stretch, as the drinks were watered down. Very disappointing, these local McDonalds just can't get...

first time going here, and wont go back to this location. went in and the front counter had no employee taking orders, forcing everyone to use the kiosks. every kiosk had a line, and all of the kiosks are very close together, so it was super crowded, with about 15 people all crammed around the kiosks. once i was finally able to place my order, i was instructed(by the kiosk) to take a table tent and someone would bring my order to me. after waiting for 20+ minutes, i went to the counter and had to wait another 4-5 minutes to speak to a person to get an update on my order. once speaking to the lady i went back to my table having been told it should be out shortly. the employee who brought my food, asked if i wanted any sauces etc, and let me grtab my stuff that i wanted from a tray he was carrying. He then asked if i needed anything else, and i asked for a bag, but he blatantly ignored me and walked off. I had to go back to the counter to ask for a bag, enduring another 3-4 minute wait to get a person at the counter. Customer service seems almost non-existant in this location. the parking lot has 5-10 parking spaces only(estimated, i didnt count) They obvious arent setup for, and dont want you to come inside.

Went to do a survey as directed on their reciept, and the website does not take the code from the receipt, so you conveniently cant gice them a bad review there. It gives an alternate option to enter several bits of info from the receipt if the code doesnt work, but then errors out and says they cant complete the survey based on information you provided, or something along...

Stopped by this location for the first time this morning. Simply ordered an orange juice and a platter of hotcakes and a hash brown. The drive thru staff handed me my orange juice and asked me to pull into drive thru spot 1 as the hash brown needed a minute. Okay, no problem I went to McDonald’s early so I wouldn’t be late for work and I figured it wouldn’t take too long for a hash brown to be done. 5 minutes passed, 10 minutes passed… I’m looking out the window thinking any minute now someone will come with my food. NOPE. TWENTY MINUTES PASSED… then TWENTY FIVE MINUTES. At that point I got out of my car and went into the restaurant to ask where my order is. It’s ridiculous that almost a whole half hour passed and no one cared to bring my order out. The woman at the drive thru window literally made eye contact with me through my driver side mirror and apparently didn’t think to alert anyone that my order wasn’t handed to me and I was still waiting. I don’t know what is up with this location but it’s a no for me. It looks all nice and modern on the outside but the operations and customer service seems to be pretty shitty. Won’t be returning to...
