Taqueria EL Patron — Restaurant in Georgetown

I’ve done twice, so I could judge fairly and I’m rather unimpressed by the food. They are very friendly though. I had the torta the first time and I found the steak to be bland, and taste a bit, cheap. It had onions though I requested none and they did happily remake me one, I do appreciate that. My son had nachos and though he expressed no pico because of his distaste for raw onion and tomato and while there was no pico, there was raw onion and tomato.

Second visit we had a loaded potato, steak, again bland and had an odd taste, potato was nice and done, but the cheese sauce was bland, didn’t come with the jalapeños that were requested and felt all together a bit lackluster. Could have used sour cream and seasoning.

I'm so happy there is a taco truck in Georgetown! And I'm even more happy that the food here is GREAT. I love the carne asada tacos, but my new favorite is the carne asada burrito. It's absolutely loaded with almost everything you can think of, which makes it gigantic in size. The Muñoz's are always friendly, and the food never takes long. Absolutely recommend to anyone...
