Ordered online so that I didn’t have to wait as long in line but that was a huge mistake. The receipt said around 20 mins, I waited that amount of time and then stood in front of the window that said online orders here for another 16 mins, no one said anything to me! I finally went around to the order window and after waiting for at least 3 more minutes I told the young lady I came over here for my online order because I was being ignored over there, she flippantly said “well you have to come to us” I explained I was waiting at the online order window and she told me that wasn’t the right window (how was I supposed to know that online orders didn’t really mean online orders). The male working with her said they were busy and he didn’t have time to make the order, (mind you this is now 36 mins). He said he had customers, so me paying 29$ online doesn’t make me a customer. He and the girl continued to be disrespectful to me saying they were busy. I said they can easily give me my money back or make my order he said they already made two things that were sitting and waiting, and would now work on the rest. Five plus mins later she hastily set my order outside the window and slammed and locked the window. it wasn’t fully correct and I had to get her to open your window back up. When I tried to show her my receipt that they texted me showing it was a bowl and not a cone she again said well I don’t know what you want me to do that’s not what my receipt says. The male came over and said their system prints the receipt differently. She in the meantime threw the ice cream from a cone into the bowl and again pushed it back out the window. And those two ice creams he said he made that were waiting were fully melted when we got home. They will never get another dime from me and their manager and owner should be ashamed that this is how they represent their company. Their attitudes were trash and the...
Read moreBruster's ice cream is truly the star of the show, offering a creamy and indulgent treat that delights the taste buds with every scoop. The ice cream is impeccably soft and velvety, delivering a burst of flavor that leaves you craving more. With a wide array of options including sorbets, shakes, and an abundance of flavors, there's something to satisfy every craving.
However, while the ice cream may steal the spotlight, the overall experience at Bruster's can be hindered by challenging wait times and organizational issues. Despite the presence of multiple staff members, the lack of coordination and efficiency can lead to frustrating delays, especially during peak hours on Saturdays or holidays.
Improving staff training and assigning specific roles could significantly enhance the customer experience, ensuring that orders are fulfilled promptly and efficiently. With a streamlined approach, such as dedicating one person to food and fryers, three to ice cream scooping and serving, and one to the cash register, Bruster's could vastly improve its service quality.
The location of the Anniston branch, situated on a busy and noisy street next to a dollar store, may detract from the overall ambiance and atmosphere. However, the bench in the green area behind the store offers a peaceful retreat for enjoying your ice cream away from the hustle and bustle.
In summary, Bruster's ice cream earns a resounding five stars for its delectable treats and expansive menu options. However, improvements in service efficiency and a more favorable location could elevate the overall experience to match the excellence of its ice...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience during my weekly visit to Bruster's this past weekend. I arrived with my two-year-old at the same time as another family, only to be informed that we would not be served. I explained that we had arrived simultaneously with the family ahead of us, and the Bruster's employee responded that they would be their last customer, as the store closed at 9:00 PM and it was 9:01 PM. When I pointed out that I had arrived before 9:00 PM, I was told I hadn’t joined the line in time.
I have been a loyal customer, visiting this location weekly with my niece, who looks forward to our regular Bruster's. To make matters worse, the family ahead of us even attempted to order a baby cone for my niece, but their request was denied by the employee. This made it clear to me that the staff’s behavior was not only unprofessional but also seemed to be unnecessarily spiteful.
As a regular customer since the store’s opening, this experience was deeply disheartening. Moving forward, I will be taking my business to another Bruster's location, as this visit has left a lasting...
