Cheffs TAKEOUT — Restaurant in Georgia

I really wanted fish and grits, and Cheffs Takeout was one of the only places that offer it all day. I was excited to see they had a BOGO on fish and grits. We also ordered the salmon fried rice.

I was so disappointed. The catfish tasted awful, almost like it was old and fried in old oil. The grits were runny and had an odd taste. I couldn't figure out what it was. The salmon fried rice wasn't fried rice at all. It was a salmon fillet with a teriyaki based glaze. The fried rice wasn't fried. It was very soft and had that same teriyaki glaze stirred into it, so texturally, it was more like a sauced rice. It also had an odd taste.

Owner was very nice and personable. The food was GOOD AS HELL. First time I stopped in I had wings, broccoli and mashed potatoes and it was delicious. Food was seasoned very well, I ordered again 2 days later and discovered a hookah bar next to it owned by the same owner. I had to stop in...
