My husband and I really enjoy Raising Canes and up until now havenāt found a suitable replacement. For awhile, my husband and I used to come here twice a week for dinner. The food is always out within five minutes or less, sometimes even delivered to our table directly. The chicken is always hot and fresh, and we switch out the coleslaw for an extra toast, which is extremely crunchy and delicious. The sauce is delicious and we use it with everything.
The only reason I gave a four-star rating is because I believe there are a couple small improvements that could go a long way.
When the manager is there everything always seems to run smoothly, but it seems that things are neglected when they are gone. The staff is pretty neutral, but they get the job done. Aside from the manager, thereās one gentlemen that always has a smile and is friendly every time we come in named Judson. The dining area tables, seats, and floor always seem to have leftover crumbs from the previous guest, but we are almost always the only couple eating in. Additionally, some items are almost never replenished, which requires you to request it from the staff.
We hear the staff talking and having a good time (obviously, thereās nothing wrong with that, I want to have fun at work too), but I think because of this they forget to regularly clean and stock essentials. When you ask the staff for the item or if they forget something with your meal, they never hesitate to give you what you request, but again, are very neutral.
The dining room is also very quiet when you eat in and thereās few people, so a think a little music would help with the sometimes awkward silence.
If small things like what Iāve listed above donāt bother you, Iād recommend this place every time. It truly is a great establishment for the basic but delicious chicken...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo, every chicken place is different. But I love this place, and I've driven several miles out of the way for them several times lately.
PRO: Chicken has a good taste. It has a flavor to it that I recognize and enjoy. It does NOT taste like GMO chicken, like some fast food places. (this is not a deal breaker and I've never looked up the facts for who uses what chicken source, but some chicken has a less than preferred taste that is not related to the seasoning) Tastes better than any chain restaurants or fast food places that I've been to recently My daughter will actually eat this chicken! She has turned her nose up at chicken from three other places (large chains of both fastfood and restaurant) I like the fries - I'm not sure there's anything fancy about them. They are crinkle fries. Drive through window Pricing is great! I used to go to Zaxby's for the price. But they have raised their prices (and I didn't know about this place yet).
CON: Long lines they're not that bad, but it's not uncommon to arrive and wait for three cars to order and then wait in a curbside spot for the food. I've had quick days and slow days, neither of which bothered me and I was only unhappy once (because my 3 year old was upset in the backseat, not because of anything that Chicken Fingers did). Not much space in the line... be careful if there are more than four cars in line. Like some places, I've been waited in line while still in a traffic lane (nothing as bad as Popeyes though, no worries) ... nothing else I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was meeting up with a family member in the Augusta area and was hoping to find a location to get some chicken tenders because my son loves chicken tenders. So I did a Google search to find the best chicken tenders in Augusta and this place called chicken fingers comes on the Google search. I am so glad we stopped. It was not off the interstate so there was additional mileage for us but it was definitely worth the drive. I absolutely love their chicken it tasted fresh and the seasoning was delicious. Their french fries were perfect. Their chicken meals come with a bun thatās toasted almost like garlic toast. It was delicious. My son who is super picky absolutely loved their food. We also ended up getting a chicken tender salad and it appeared there ranch dressing may have been homemade? Anyway, it was really good. The bathrooms were clean. The employees were very nice. There were some picnic tables outside where we could set which was nice because we had our dog with us. The only thing I wasnāt overly excited about was that I asked for a cup of water for my dog and was charged the full fee for a drink. We actually got there a little early (before our family) and we ordered a water for our dog, one chicken tender just so we could taste it because we were so excited, one piece of bread, and some fries. We ordered a second time once our...
