I'm one of the rare 3-star reviews here as it seems most people either love this place or think it's the worst thing imaginable.

Today I had the beef w/ broccoli lunch special which included fried rice (I opted for the pork fried rice for $0.50 more.) It also included an egg roll and a can of Coke. All for $10.40 after tax.

The food was decent. It wasn't the best Chinese I've ever had by any stretch, but it wasn't the worst either... trust me on this... I've had some you just couldn't eat. The beef was ok... a tad bland but atleast it wasn't rubbery or slimey. The broccoli also a bit bland. But it was edible. The sauce could have used more flavor definitely, but I'll take it over some others I've had. The fried rice was the yellow kind which some don't prefer. I don't mind it. It was decent. The egg roll wasn't great. Again, I've had much worse but this one won't win any prizes. In fact I wouldn't order it on its own. It came with the meal... so I'll take it. But don't expect perfection here.

Overall it was mediocre Chinese food. But when you're hungry and want some quick Chinese for lunch it'll do. For $10.40 for all that, and a drink I won't complain.

If you're wanting to take your family out to eat, I'd go elsewhere, but there doesn't seem to be much better choices in Brunswick anywhere unfortunately. If you find one,...

I go here semi-frequently. After reading all the bad reviews I had to add my two cents. This is a family owned business and all of the staff are VERY respectful. The people who say otherwise were obviously rude or looking to complain because the mom and her children who work here have some of the best service in town. They have the best Chinese in town. The crab rangoons are to die for (maybe literally- they aren’t healthy, duh!). Everyone that is complaining of greasiness- why did you go to an Americanized take out Chinese place if you didn’t want greasy food? They also have healthier options like steamed broccoli and you can make small customizations if you’re nice. This place doesn’t have 5 star food, but they will load you up for your money and it is fresh and homemade. They care about their customers here and make sure you’re getting a good value. Just don't do it no matter how hungry you are just don't do it. I do not recommend ordering here. From the minute I walked in it all went down hill our family's order was lost it was called in not ordered online. After re explaining what we ordered the nice women found the original order. The counter women was vey nice broken English only two people her and the guy cooking. Now with that the food was thrown out after we got home and opened the containers. The white rice was good the rest was just inedible Lo Mein; egg roll , steamed dumplings , pork spare ribs, & my order was unrecognizable not egg foo young. deep fried crispy deep, how deep holly crap!!! something in a plastic container that at first glance we thought some type of soup ? after a taste test that two went into the garbage.
