I've been several times lately. Generally it's around 7pm-9pm when we walk in and we always order to go. These past three times, it has been overall terrible. The first time, we waited 30+ minutes on our meals. When we finally got our blizzards, they were borderline soup and barely even cold (even the employee at the cashier suggested we ask for our money back and demand to talk to the manager). Our food was colder than the blizzards. However while we were waiting for our food, after we received our blizzards, not even five minutes later we watched the next customer get a perfect blizzard. However, We were time strained and had to leave. The second time, our food was done faster, but the cashier didn't even notice it was done (I believe his name was Jayden) so we ended up waiting at least 10 more minutes. Tonight, we got the same cashier and the same amount of attention as the previous visit. We waited 20+ minutes for the food. He forgot to give us our drinks too until we asked 10 minutes after taking our order. When we finally got our food, he forgot what kind of sauce we asked for. Also, it seemed like the cook(s?) were struggling since it appeared there was only one and the manager was supposedly sitting in the back in an office (we overheard from another customer who must've been familiar with the staff and possibly an employee, as she was in the back helping). Its messed up that someone who wasn't on clock was doing more work than the manager. This would be different if it was a one time thing, but it's constant. And because Dairy Queen in Kingsland closed, this was my last hope for chicken tenders and blizzard happiness. But I'm so disappointed and probably won't be going again...
Read moreDon't stop here if you're traveling up 95. They added a meal to our order, charging us for three combos and delivered two completely different combo meals. The only part of the order they got right was my wife's Blizzard. We called the corporate office to complain and they said the local franchise is supposed to put their phone numbers on their receipts for customer satisfaction. The owner doesn't do that at this location. They could only forward our complaint about the overcharge and missing items to the franchisee. Highly doubt I'll ever hear from them. CHECK YOUR ORDER WHEN YOU PAY AND WHEN YOU PICK IT UP. This location appears to prey on people traveling up 95. UPDATE: We were contacted by the local franchisee and offered a gift card for the inconvenience they caused. I'll stop at this location next month and see if the manager has corrected the issues. I always change my reviews to reflect my most recent experience. Everyone has off days. UPDATE: They were truthful with everything they said they would do to fix the problem. I'll do a new review when I next visit...
