This was my second time going to this restaurant and more than likely my last. Let me say that my first experience with this restaurant was great. I liked the vibe of the restaurant and the oxtail pizza was so good. My first experience caused me to bring my friend from out of town there tonight. Bad move because the customer service experience was the worst I have experienced in a long time! When ordering appetizers, they were out of menu items like their risotto balls and calamari. We found other items to order from their menu, but things only got worse from there. We placed our orders for our pizzas and drinks, and after a long wait, noticed that customers that arrived after us were being served their food. We flagged our waiter down to ask him about our food and he told us there was some type of glitch in their system that caused our order to be missed. He then assured us that they were working on our pizzas and they should be out shortly. After another long wait he brought out 2 of our pizzas and told my other friend they were working on hers. After another wait, we flagged our waiter back over to us to ask what happened to her pizza and then he told us that they were out of pepperoni and had to send someone to the store to get some. I did see one of their workers come through the back door with a grocery bag a short time later, but after another long wait, my friend still didn't get her pizza. A little after that, we also noticed our waiter and another staff member appear to be having a disagreement about a pizza that was taken to another table of another new group of people that came in after us. We also saw the manager appear to have a disagreement with one of the kitchen staff about the same pizza, and our waiter went to the table where the pizza was taken. I'm not sure if he was going to try and take it back, but it was obvious that it was my friend's pizza. After that it seemed like the waiter and the manager were trying to avoid us because it was hard to get either of them to come talk to us. Long story short, it took over 2 hours for my friend to get her pizza. That's after we told them we no longer wanted the pizza. The waiter kept telling us that they were working on the pizza even after we saw them give her pizza away, and the manager quickly walked by and dismissively stated that our food was going to be discounted. After another wait and having to ask another waitress for boxes to box up the pizzas we did get, we again had to flag down our waiter and told him again that we didn't want the pizza. While we were discussing the poor customer service with him, the manager just dropped the pizza off to my friend all boxed up and told the waiter to just give us the discounted bill. No apology for the bad service or the long wait. She was very dismissive. We had to flag her down to discuss the poor service. They have a real problem with communication and with maintaining their inventory. How do you run out of so many things when your restaurant is in the same parking lot of a grocery store in walking distance?! Also, had the waiter told us earlier that they were out of pepperoni and offered a substitute, my friend wouldn't have been subjected to a 2 hour wait for her food. Also, had they just let us know they made a mistake with her pizza instead of avoiding us and then outright lying to our faces, we may have understood the confusion and felt a little better about the situation. The manager only apologized about our experience when we pointed these things out. She then told us that our waiter was new and some of the kitchen staff was new, which may have caused some of the delay. Communication is key to good customer service, but instead of being honest with us throughout our time at their restaurant, they kept my friend waiting for 2 hours for a small pizza. Absolutely ridiculous! I hope they work to improve their customer service because even if the food is good, bad customer service can be and has been the downfall of many nice restaurants....
Read moreWe had such an amazing experience for #foodiefridayswitht_vfooduniverse at @f1f4pizzabar in the Redan area of Stone Mountain. This place has definite hidden gem potential. The service was good and the food and drinks had Caribbean pizza parlor vibes.
Here is what we had and our thoughts, as always everything is from 1❤️ not good to 5+❤️ amazing:
Pizzas Shottas ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Jerk chicken, grilled dried pineapple, bell pepper, and jerk chicken sauce instead of tomato sauce. This was a very unique pizza, probably one of the most unique we have ever had. It was awesome!
F1F4 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Slow braised shredded oxtail, mozzarella, and pepadew peppers. Very tasty, a little sweet heat from the peppers. Who ever thought oxtail on a pizza would work, but it definitely does.
Hot honey lemon pepper wings ❤️❤️❤️❤️ These were cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sauce was nice but could have been a little more saucy. But it's also very good.
Dessert Lemon Tres Leches Cake ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ This one gets the bonus points. Who thought a pizza parlor would create our favorite Tres Leches in Atlanta!! I kid you not, OUR FAVORITE!!
DRINKS: East Side Colada ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Vodka, fresh pressed pineapple juice, fresh lime juice, coconut cream, ginger syrup
Spiced Rum Sangria ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ White Pear Brandy, chanti, fresh pressed orange juice, ginger.
You guys have to check out the uniqueness of these pizzas. We could literally see the cook tossing our dough as we waited and you could tell by the flavor. We will definitely be back to visit and you should visit too.

Service: 5/5 Personalized service from the pizza maker and the bartender/server.
Prices:5/5 Receipt is attached. I believe the prices were fair based on what you get. My glass of cava was nine dollars, the pizza is handmade and one of those traditional ovens and taste as if straight from Italy. Definitely a beautiful and clean environment as well.
Ambiance: 5/5 I was presently surprised to see this little place tucked at the end of this plaza. I like the way the patio is lit and decorated. The interior is super clean, and the type of crowd that this restaurant is attracting is definitely upscale and conversational. It felt like home. Taste/Textures:5/5 Again, using my brother as a source here. He loved the pizza! He is not a fan of anything that he doesn’t recognize so we got pepperoni, which is beef and I want to say it’s also beef bacon, but I’m not sure.
Value: 5/5 This is the perfect place to catch up with my brother before his birthday trip, on the east side of Atlanta, so I’ll give this place a five out of five across-the-board.
Oh well, it’s my brother’s birthday and the only food that he will ever even life is PIZZA! I really struggle to find a pizza spot that used a traditional oven and had a cool atmosphere outside of downtown Atlanta so… what luck to stumble upon this hidden gem in Stone mountain!
Pulling up, you cannot see this place from the street, go past the Chinese food place and there’s a beautifully lit patio that serves as an entrance as well.
The atmosphere inside was buzzing, it’s a tiny space that’s filled with good vibes. It looks like a bunch of date nights and people meeting for drinks and conversation.
TLDR: Beautiful and authentic pizza bar with cute and cheeky drinks. Although I was with a picky eater, I would definitely come back to try some of their pizza creations, drinks,...
