Freddie Mac's Bbq — Restaurant in Georgia

I was referred to Freddie Mac BBQ in Morrow, GA by a friend, and my experience was fantastic from start to finish. On my first visit, they happened to be closed for vacation. I called the number listed and left a message, and to my surprise, the owner, Ms. Tracy, personally called me back to apologize. I told her I wasn’t a local but planned to visit on my return trip, and she warmly encouraged me to come by. When I finally made it in, the food did not disappoint. The pork ribs were tender and bursting with flavor, and the homemade BBQ sauce was truly one of a kind. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. I’m not usually a macaroni and cheese fan, but theirs was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had; rich, creamy, and unforgettable. Based on some of the reviews i was ready to try this place. I expected a lil hole in the wall spot with great food. Ordered a full slab and 3 sides. They gave me some of the driest and toughest ribs i have had in my life. Tasted like the ribs were old and had been cooked days ago. Great tasting sauce though. The collard greens had no flavor ended up throwing them away. The bright spots were the potatoe salad which tasted similar to my grandmother's, and the bakebeans were pretty decent. Finally some great barbecue. DON'T change a thing other than your business hours. Wednesday through Sunday is not enough!!! I ordered the rib tips, greens, and macaroni, when I tell you I started with the greens and couldn't stop eating them they were amazing! The rib tips was GRILLED something that I don't see much here in Georgia. I felt like I was at a Mississippi cookout. The rib tips were also tender and meaty.
