We've been coming to this spot for years. It is a very casual, very comfortable, older building so there are no bells and whistles. You come to this restaurant to get good food to go or you sit down and your meal. There's not a lot of seating but there are a few tables. Every time we go it seems like the majority of people are picking their food up. This is a great spot if you enjoy beef hamburgers, turkey burgers, impossible burgers, or veggie burgers. Is rare to have a burger spot that offers a burger in so many options. You also have the option of a traditional bun, a wheat bun, pita bread, or even just served on lettuce. They have onion rings, French fries, sweet potato fries, and even zucchini fries. None of your toppings come on your burger, there is a small condiment section where you add your lettuce, tomatoes, Chow Chow, pickles, etc. Every time you come you're going to be greeted or you're going to have a friendly conversation with one of the staff. They are very down to earth and appear to be family-oriented so they are always welcoming. There's even a little horn at the door that you can honk for great customer service. The cook is always accommodating to whatever changes that you want to make to a menu item and I hope if this cook ever leaves that he properly trains the next person so that the food tastes just as good. If you want a good burger come here, and although I haven't tried them yet, I have been told that the Philly cheese steaks are amazing. I will be getting the chicken version or the impossible version of that on my next visit. The sweet potato fries are really good but I also enjoyed the zucchini fries. The drinks are self-served from a fountain drink dispenser. Definitely check them out for a casual yet enjoyable experience. Even though it's just comfort food it's not cheap but you get what you pay for. You want a good tasting fresh burger, you need to be willing to pay for that. Their hours are more limited than your standard Burger Joint so plan accordingly. You can call in your order ahead and pick up when...
Read moreAfter reading all the good reviews for this place, I almost feel bad for posting mine. Almost. But I feel I should share my experience so that management knows and maybe address some of the issues. I couldn't call in the order, went straight to voice-mail that was full. So I did an online order, which I'm not too crazy about. Got there within the time frame and still had to wait almost 40 minutes. There is a cooler off to the side where you plate your own condiments. I dont like that. The tongs used would have had everyone's germs. I don't like sharing my condiments/toppings with the public. I didnt even notice that my husband's order was wrong until I got home. He wanted a 1/4 Angus burger, Texas toast and no cheese. His came with cheese and a white bun. The girl who worked the register, she moved around on her own time. She was getting back up condiments under the cooler and just throwing the containers onto the counter top. The cook was slamming stuff down on the counters. My son's order, 1/4 with a fried egg, cheese, bacon, and chili didn't have chili or the egg. The cook took my plate, made the egg and put chili on the burger and just handed back my plate. He didn't even look at me. No, sorry for the mix up; sorry for the inconvenience; nothing. The other guy that was getting the orders together was the only nice person there. The counters were sticky. Sat with a lady that said the bathroom was stopped up. The whole place was...just dirty. Working in food service, I'm going to critique other restaurants; it's natural for me to do that. I don't know who the owners are or who manages it, but they need to do a serious overhaul on the place. As busy as they are, they don't have the equipment to cook as much as they have to. And the girl, who appeared as though it took everything she had to move because she didnt want to, doesn't need to be customer service. I spent 64 bucks and was sorely disappointed in the place. And won't be back. I hope the owners/managers read these reviews and addresses the issues with...

I don't remember the last time I had a burger this good. The fries were amazing, too! I can't believe how much I ate. My husband had the mushroom burger with regular fries, and I had a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. We shared both types of fries.
My burger was full of flavor - I didn't even realize that I hadn't used any condiments until I was done! It was tender and juicy, and the bun (simple white) complemented it perfectly. For me, a plain white bun is just what you do because it's cheap - not because it tastes good. These people have some magic hiding somewhere.
I'm pretty picky about fries, so I seldom order them because everyone messes them up. Not these people. Crisp on the outside and Fluffy inside - they didn't need any condiments either, though I did try them with mayonnaise and ketchup - it seems no matter what I did, they were delicious 😋
I have a lot of social anxiety, especially around food, so I usually get things to go. Instead, I chatted with some of the employees, and it felt like I was hanging out with friends - a big age difference for me, but friends nonetheless. I was relaxed and comfortable.
EDIT: Try the sweet potato tots! I love a good sweet potato - nothing on it but butter and salt. These are just like this, but with the crunch that comes from a fryer drool. Not gonna lie - these will change the way you look at sweet potatoes and tater tots forever.
They have these cute signs all around and a bell you can ring if you enjoy your meal. It was all so fun. I wish I were staying in the area longer - I would definitely be a regular. Dang it, now I'm hungry again - and I just...
